U wouldn't even be able to go down the stairs normally without falling and seriously hurting myself. Seriously, challenge any of her defenders to walk around at home with a blindfold on, and relying only on their ears to navigate. Taking little baby steps while holding your arms out to feel where you are doesn't count, you need to walk normally, the same way you'd to with vision, as that's how Pwnsalot plays the game blindfolded as well.

💯percent correct. 👍 I've taken a piss several times a day for the last 42 years... I can "aim the stream" VERY well. HOWEVER... If you put a nickel on the ground in front of me and asked me to hit it with piss, "blind", it just wouldn't happen! It doesn't work that way!

@@billymanilliHell, not to self report but I've taken a piss and closed my eyes more than a couple times, the amount of times I've somehow veered off course and splashed the tile is alarming. You'd think just keeping a straight aim would be 'piss easy' but it's surprising how much your body relies on seeing things to aim at them. Like just try it, go to your bathroom door, look at where your toilet is, then close your eyes and try to not only walk to your toilet but also piss in it blind. Bet you 20$ you'll miss despite doing it millions of times.

You walk around your house every day, for years or even decades, and you'll still bump into things and get confused if you try to do it in complete darkness

yeah, I saw someone comment that they could move around their house easily when it's pitch black outside. See, there's a difference between pitch black and blindfolded. Even when it's pitch black, you still get some light in your eyes and can kind of see the contours of objects meaning you aren't 100% "blind". Do it blindfolded, walking at full speed. You'll definitely run into walls and objects (tried it just with my eyes closed, and believe you me, I would not have done that close to stairs that's for sure) !

I am a very experienced MHW player. I saw this run come up in my recommend and after watching it, the red flags were pretty immediately apparent. I didn't pick up on the smaller details, but for me the fact she never used lock on, and controlled her camera perfectly immediately made me skeptical. After seeing the rest of the evidence against against her it is very obvious that this is faked. The real question is whether or not she will admit to cheating.

If anything, it would be the other way round. The longer you have been seeing, the more you rely on seeing. With the exception of understanding the size and shape of objects, but you need to learn a wholly different process and understanding of navigating the world

What's even funnier to me is that other people have already done this boss blindfolded legitimately, she could've just done it the way they do it. But because she's so deadset on using her big sword and playing for heavy head shots she just did the most brain dead obvious cheating possible.

Not top right though, it's a third monitor just next to her main one, she's seeing out the bottom of the blindfold not the top of it.

That snippet of her readjusting the camera back down after moving it up too much is probably the most damning. Realistically, the camera at one point would be facing the ceiling, and it wouldnt matter for someone who's relying purely on audio cues. Now, maybe you could hear the difference if it was all the way looking up, as the sounds might feel like they're below, but it never gets to that point. It's always microadjusted

Karl just recently released hes updated video about this situation and when u se the clear signs that she was cheating u will start to question how u even missed them in the first place. If u dont know its hard to se yes but this 1 was so obvious and after watching u will se why.

Karl just dropped the video a few hours ago. After watching it, there is no doubt, she DID cheat. All the things he points out, especially after the first half of the video, shows all the things that were missed that shows she faked it. She even realizes her mistake exposing herself and tries to backtrack.

It's amazing how no one noticed her slip up. Spoilers are under the "Read More" tab for anyone else looking at this reply... Spoiler: She had a hidden third monitor and wore the blindfold loose enough to be able to look through it to see the screen. At one point, she reads and replies to a message on this third monitor, which gave her away.

When I was a kid, I was able to beat one of the bosses in one of the Sly Cooper games without looking, but that fight was also basically just an easy rhythm game with clear audio queues. Still, I felt like such a badass when I first did that.

The way you can normally tell a real from a fake blindfolded run is how stupid it looks. The more it looks like you passed the controller to your little brother the more legit it probably is. Unless it's SM64 then it looks like some alien shit those dudes are crazy.

Yep, despite it being relatively easy to make it look like you couldn't have cheated, it is exceptionally difficult to make it look like the actual footage is legit. And if the footage doesn't look legit and there are things on there that are pretty much impossible to have happened, it doesn't matter if anybody can prove how you cheated because everybody knows you did anyway. People will simply behave differently when they can see the screen, the amount of pretending you'd have to do would be exceptional. And it could only possibly work for a run that is highly choreographed and has little to no RNG or variance of any kind. So, ironically, I think the only people who would even have a chance to produce a believable fake run are those who are already really good at doing these runs legitimately, as only they have the necessary level of understanding, skill, and muscle memory to produce a fake run that looks believable. Take the run in the video as an example. The girl is actually pretty good at the game and knows this fight better than 99.9% of people. And yet, when she actually tried to fake a run, her best attempt at it was so fake it had more holes than swiss cheese. And that's a run faked by somebody who knows the game extremely well. And then even after everybody under the sun pointed to her every mistake she has done that gave it away, she tried a second time and even then she just couldn't make it believable, it still looked completely fake. It really is nearly impossible to fake a blindfolded run for a game like this, unless you are already really damn good at blindfolded runs and at the game. And if you already can do the run blindfolded legitimately, what's the point in faking it? Blindfolded speedruns don't compete for best times in majority of cases, they are a feat of their own, if you can do it at all that's already good enough.

It's all about recreatibility. If the exact processes of your gameplay can't be recreated with 99% accuracy and certainty, it is my understanding that it's not a feasible blindfolded strategy.

This is the second person that has ever said if they ever have someone post something this cringe in their social media. No hesitation and very blunt!

When people acting blindfolded keep rotating their camera to exactly where the enemies are that already throws up a red flag. I've seen numerous speedrunners and many of them don't rotate at all outside of certain areas that need the camera to be roughly in the right direction to hit a certain angle and these guys are listening like crazy for sound queues. At the end of the video where she supposedly has something covering the screen why are there lighting effects still coming off. If the screen is covered then lighting effects shouldn't still be showing up on camera. Also she has that mask so high on her face and she is looking up more than with her other fake blinds that she is looking out the edge of the mask at the bottom.

Thisi s impossible to blindfold and win even after 4000 kills, when you see the game, you focus on things and not on others you'll have to manage in blindfold. If you focus on the boss when seeing it and you still focus on the boss blindfolded, you don't blindfold the game, you see it. I just watched her live, she did several tries, which would suppose that she sees nothing, but she dodges at impossible times, I don't know the game, but since it works on the sound of the game, she dodges before the sound ending the action is heard, you have to see that the monster is going to launch an attack to start the dodge because the action is very fast, but only the sound is impossible because it is done at the impact on the ground, there is nothing before. And the end of the fight she reacts to the opening of the "main objective complete" Nothing indicates in the sound that the boss is dead, the sound resembles a pause where he could quite launch an attack, he make the same sound. The only way to win such boss fight is when the boss attacks are scripted at any fight ans you memorize the script or you tank the boss.. That's my pov. I don't think you can memorize any script, games today make random fight, scripted things are very tiny. Anyway she look the game on the right screen when she focus on her character at the end (so narcissistic she is), meaning the game is there. And she doesn't let people to clip to show🫥

Yeah to anyone who really knows monster hunter this is EXTREMELY obvious. Ive enjoyed a few blindfolded run streams but i would call myself particularly informed on them. Regardless its hard to imagine how anybody would fall for this lol

Why in the world would anyone trust her after the first run, she took off the blindfold and you could see through it, there's video proof right there that she lied and then in second video it's clearly been tampered with, even with all that's come out today about the 2nd run being fake nothing she said or did after claiming that first run was legit should matter other than an admission, I guess we'll see if she finally does that, ignores it OR triples down.

I know of two reasons that people defend her. Two squishy reasons.

The streamer knows where the boss is at all times. She knows this because she knows where it isn't. By subtracting where the boss is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), she obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the streamer from a position where the boss is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't. In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the boss is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the streamer must also know where it was. The streamer guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the streamer has obtained, she is not sure just where the boss is. However, she is sure where it isn't, within reason, and she knows where it was. The streamer now subtracts where the boss should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, she is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.

that is COMPLETELY different and you are being intentionally dishonest. The ice doesn't spawn in the exact same positions every single time, and have zero audio clues as to where they are. A blind person can use a myriad of devices to aid them in moving around in society, something you can't do in game. The camera *alone* is enough to tell you this is 100% fake. Shes not going to bang you, so stop ridding her so hard in your mind.

Honestly, I'm just glad you've discovered @karljobst . He's been one of my favorites on YT for a few years now. Does good investigative videos and is a speedrunner himself.
