Today I show my two best recipes for strawberry custard cake. The cream consists of vanilla pudding and sour cream (or crème fraîche). Recipe 1:
Ingredients (for a baking tray: 24 x 37 cm):
Dough:
150 grams of sugar
3 eggs
70ml oil
170 grams of flour
70 ml of sparkling orange soda
2 teaspoons baking powder
180 °C top and bottom heat for 20 - 25 minutes
custard cream:
700 ml milk
2 packets of vanilla pudding (each 37 g)
100 grams of sugar
450 g crème fraîche (or sour cream or cream cheese)
Strawberry jam
about 1 kg strawberries halved
Strawberry Frosting:
2 packs of red cake jelly
500ml of water
100 grams of sugar

Recipe 2:
Ingredients (for a 26 cm baking pan):
80 grams of sugar
3 larger eggs
A pinch of salt
80 g oil (weighed)
180 g flour + 2 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons of milk
170 degrees Celsius top and bottom heat for 20 minutes
Strawberry jam
250 g crème fraîche (about 36% fat) or cream cheese
400-500g strawberries
1.5 packs (55g) of vanilla custard powder (powder for cooking custard) + some milk of a total of 500ml milk
Prepare the custard with 70 g of sugar as shown in the video.
Spread the cream over the cake.
Chill the strawberry cake for 30 minutes.
Strawberry Frosting:
200 ml strawberry juice
1 teaspoon agar agar
Preparation as shown in the video
Chill the strawberry cake for about 2-3 hours.
