I would also say, as a new player, I was scared to bring in the witch king because he activated all the free peoples. In the end, this doesn't matter a whole low, especially if Gondor is already at war.
As someone who has played around 70 games of WOTR I find this video very insightful and definitely learnt a thing or two 🙂.

Great set of tips for newer players Rompsteel! Lessons hard-learned. You could do a whole series of videos just on how to move Shadow armies efficiently.

Yeah, actually, that was exactly my plan for my next strategy-talking video, specifically studying the pros & cons of different Shadow openings & keeping efficiency in mind
I would like a very short highlight real of the BIG cards to look out for. If enough time has passed that it would not be depressing to try again ;)

Thanks for this video. Very interesting really. I realize that you refer to many cards and it's hard to know them and their effects by heart so sometimes, I could not follow. Anyways, great, thanks again !

Something I thought worth a mention is when to our when not to get the WK. Or more the point again that it's a race, so get the WK asap and don't be scared to activate all the FP nations.

Yes, that's a good point, you see that sometimes with newer players, and I think in LOME it's more nuanced where you might want to hold off getting the black captain to get the chief first, but in base I think you're right that most high-elo players would recommend just getting the WK ASAP

@@rompsteelwarofthering6490 it's certainly something I've noticed from playing and recording my own games Vs watching the pros like yourself. I've adjusted now for base game to just asap and it does seem much better. As for LoME, well you can do another video on that ;)
