I got done the holding the nut flush against a straight flush in CLUBS, too. My opponent hit the one card 6 of clubs outer on the river. Ha, brings back memories (from 12 years ago). Love this poker format at The Lodge... all except the language now and then.

As a viewer this thing with time chip is interesting. But as a poker player, i would probably hate this. I think this kills all the action, the tention at the table. So its kinda 50/50

Texas guys: I had Ax, the pot is this size, the action was this,this,that. His range is likely this,could be that. In theory it's a fold, might be a call based off of the additional info, but we have no removal to the nuts. Florida guys: Is there another card to come? Did he raise preflop (nobody knows)? What's in the pot? What if we go over the top (Tx guy is all in)? I think I'm calling, he likes to bluff.

Why even call an all-in with only nut flush on a paired board? Should've just checked and called it down on both turns and river. He could've been (almost) dead already on the flop. T9 would also play it exactly like this. Even T8, which isn't unlikely had opponent might have. Set 77's also a possibility. This is just bad poker imho,

dude no lmao. u ALWAYS call with nut flush. if other person has it they have it, opponent most likely has weaker flush. if the board was 10 10 8 8 obviously that's a different story cuz its super ez for opponent to have boat but u have to call here
