I used to work at a Cafe that used Costco muffins instead and the staff loved them since they weren't super popular. But buttering and toasting the muffin halves is truly decadent

My husband worked there and enjoyed it. He said their priority was always the employee, then the customer and lastly the board. And thats how you get good customer service. Pay them decent, give them stock and good healthcare and voila! A decent experience. A lotnof people work there part time just for the healthcare. Retirees, small business owners, etc. I cant believe i didnt hear a story about the alcohol aisle! I aways buy a ton of fruit but i have toddlers that go through it like diapers, which i also get there. Also like the premade dinners (yokisobi noodles or meatloaf) and bagged salads. Orange chicken, Zoa, string cheese, butter, kodiak power cakes, peanut butter. Then some vitamins and pills because I'm falling apart and a nice warm cookie from the food court....which is probably why im falling apart. I love checking out the fun seasonal section in the middle of the store. Picked up a splash pad for the kids and an ax throwing target for the husband. Because what can go wrong with that?!?!?! Love costco! But it doesnt take much to spend alot since everything is $10-$20ea.

Costco. It’s pure hell but I like the pain. Always crowded. Always filled with aggression. But when you find a 6-pack of microfiber cloths for $12 (originally $29.99), it’s all worth it.

I worked as a Costco food sample lady for 3 years! I enjoyed it. Most customers were really nice and great coworkers.

The BEST thing about Costco is their return policy. You don’t even have to have the original box, and they just look the purchase up based on your account. Plus, you can literally return anything for years after you have purchased it (electronics and stuff). Also, their baked goods, cool products, large quantities, etc. I just love it there.

I used to work at Costco as a stocker. I loved its. I always knew what was coming in and I was clocking out as the doors opened to the public. Literally the best.

Shopping there is dangerous, it's wayyy too easy to spend $300 on one visit. 😂

Growing up in a family of 6, Costco was just where we had to go to get bargain food to feed the 3 growing boys and this cereal monster. I love how it's like this "trendy" place now. We just needed to buy a box that had 2 gallons of milk inside and boxes of cereal with 2-3 bags in them 😂 Oh, and GIANT blocks of cheese we had to shred ourselves

My husband and I actually just booked our (very late 😂) honeymoon vacation through Costco saving 10% off of the trip! Heck yes!! 🎉

If you go middle of the week when they first open, prepared with a grocery list you’re in and out in no time. I usually don’t go looking around because it’s too crowded but I go to get what I need and the Costco trips are always great❤

Growing up, we would make the 45-minute drive to Costco about once a month. I have fond memories of eating the pizza, hot dogs, and berry sundaes there. And we always bought the giant chocolate muffins.

Costco polish dogs were the best and only $1.50 for the dog, and a pop was really affordable. I miss them. I don't like the beef hotdogs they have now. If you're balling on a budget, though, it's a really cheap way to eat. Costco TP is great, kirkland bottled water is a great price. The muffins and croissants are amazing. Their sheet cakes were super good and really cheap, but I don't think they have them anymore.

I call Costco clothes (Kirkland brand) Costco Chic. I do really like the return policy. This story had me cracking up. Thank you for sharing. My boyfriend had never been to a Costco, either, and it was a whirlwind for him.

I have only been in UK Costco stores, so they are probably tiny in comparison, but I find that it’s a bit like IKEA for food. You go there thinking “this is what I need, this is how much I’m spending” and then you come out with all this stuff you didn’t plan for and somehow spent £100 more than you intended 😂

Costco hack. Their kirkland vodka tastes EXACTLY like Grey Goose.

I’d love to see a video where you go through the Costco website and explore all of the wild, random things they sell (vacations, coffins, diamonds…), as well as the reviews on things like paper towels!

Your Costco sounds more fun than mine! No singing choirs! 😍 The beauty, skincare and hygiene products are by the pharmacy typically at the end by the check stands. You were likely just done when you got to this area.

I grew up going to Price club the OG San Diego based business that became Costco. I still love that place and was just there last night buying stuff for my parents who don't live near one. The upside is once you do figure out the layout, they are all the same across the country with very few variations (the produce / bakery / dairy might be swapped). The pork teriyaki jerky is super delicious. It's in the middle front that is the snacks section that is right by the registers .

My costco fave items are : coconut water and kimchi but mostly go for toliet paper, paper towels, laundry pods and dawn dish soap. The booze is good too. Happy shopping and sampling

I’ve been a Costco member for less than a year. There’s definitely a learning curve for figuring out the store layout. I buy discounted gas there regularly, which makes the membership worth the cost. I have a few favorites (muffins, peanut butter pretzels) that I get + staples like mustard, canned beans, cheese, toothpaste…. Anything that will store well. I don’t do my regular shopping there.

Costco is open until 8 on weekdays. Its pretty empty after 7. Also, I was overwhelmed my first dozen visits.

I get soooo excited whenever I go to Costco. We go every few months and typically spend 400-500 to stock up. The desserts are always so good along with the cream cheese danishes

Costco is exhausting, but if you can manage to go when it isn’t crowded, it is worth it. I love the orange chicken, the ramen bowls, the tiramisu, and the microwaveable French onion soup when they have it.

A true new yoker in Costco. The city is bomb but girl you will be amazed how good we have it out of it ❤

I really liked how the blue eyeshadow looked! Loved the gyoza story. Maybe you didn’t miss out on the hot dogs, my fam and I had some and we all got heart burn lol. Costco on a Saturday is hell... Would not recommend but if you can make it on a week day it's a hell yeah lol

We used to go to the Costco in Deer Park on the island and my dad would bribe us with frozen yogurt and pizza to go shopping. It’s way less crazy on a weekday. And the chicken bakes are incredible!

Costco is amazing and you never know what treasures you'll find. We usually stop at the local one wherever we are traveling for snacks and such. There are differences in merch between areas! My one piece of advice is if you find something you want, get it right away. There are certain things that are staples, but a lot of things you might never see again. You can also ask the red vests up front if they have an item on the way or if other stores around you have it.

I purchased just the face palette because I too have turned into an Anne. Whenever I go to Costco, I never see all the cool stuff that other people post they have found.

When i lived by a Costco we would do Costco Saturdays and make a day out of it. We would make a meal out of the samples all over the store, and the churros you get at the front. And then buy weird s**t like kites and a water pik.

Costco is a magical euphoria. You need to go isle by isle though to not get overwhelmed. Their cake is the best. If you get a big sheet cake you need to special order the white cake with chocolate frosting. My family got it for every birthday growing up. The best. Also my family has been obsessed with the Hiiros tomatoes. Best tomatoes. They have them in NY, not sure it’ll be in Florida though

I resisted getting a membership because it seemed excessive for a single person living alone. I caved, got a card, and started a spreadsheet of what I bought and what I paid for it (a little extra, but I wasn't sure it was worth it). I am single and live alone, so going to Costco for things seemed excessive. The spreadsheet reveals that having a $60 membership saves me $550 per year on the things I routinely use. I saved $600 on occasional purchases like tires and glasses. And, I got a Costco credit card that has a reward piece that resulted in a $120 cash rebate in the store! Edit: Our Costco is the smallest in the US and our community is small so when I go, I see everyone so a "visit" takes a couple hours but snacks are provided!

I don't care for any in-store shopping but I have to force myself to not go into Costco because I know I'll walk out with new car tires despite not even having a car. It's like a fair for adults 😅

I really love Amy. I’ve been following her since she hit about 8,000 subs. But I just don’t get this palette. I know she said she made “her” perfect palette, which is fine, but you need to make something people want to buy. Adept has an impressive about of mattes, so there is no reason for any shades to be similar. I just think when your paying over 70.00, for a palette, the least the company can do is offer shades that don’t look like duplicates. Also, colorful palettes always have some neutrals included for those who don’t feel comfortable going out of there comfort zone. Yet companies always put out palettes with the same color and tone of brown. I’m sorry, I don’t mean to sound like I’m bitching, just making a point. Great post, thank you Theresa.❤
