As someone who struggle with weight and probably has an ED (only probably, bc doctors don't take it seriously) I too appreciate it, so much! Although I do think it should be talked about and therefore I am glad there is channels for it, but when I watch beauty content, I want to relax and not focus on my life and struggles... But unfortunatly when others talk healthy about weight and such, comments are awful, which can hit hard. Just one more reason I love and support Theresa❤

I pretty much quit drinking at 40. I cannot recover anymore, wine would kill me for at least a week.

If all you're getting is alcohol, you're probably sniffing too soon! It needs a minute or two on the tester strip for the alcohol to evaporate and then you'll be able to smell the fragrance. If you're still getting alcohol after a couple of minutes, try wafting the strip under your nose instead of sniffing the paper. Happy Huffing! (I really hope you're as amused by that as I am rn, otherwise it's just a very weird way to end a comment 🤣)

I just got the Soda Snob perfume. The biggest notes on this are definitely cola, clove, cinnamon, and hints of vanilla. The lime doesn’t really come through. If you like spice, it’s intoxicating. It’s very different. Also, the bottle comes with a small trial to test before you open the big package in case you don’t like it and want to return it.

'Accord' is perfume speak for 'we mixed a load of ingredients together to make something that smells like this thing, but we're not going to tell you exactly what we used so other people can't copy it as easily.' Ylang ylang is a flower from southeast Asia that is used in a lot of popular mainstream floral fragrances - it's in Dior J'adore Jean Paul Gautier Classique and Chanel No5, for example. The flowers look very cool, like weird alien tentacles.

But accord is not used for that reason: everyone could copy whatever they want if they have a spectrometer. Hence why there are some amazing copies out there. Though the quality of ingredients will affect the outcome

Yup, all of this! I've always found "accord" kinda funny but it makes sense when you're blending various oils to make a scent that does not have a natural oil.

​@@Kayla_P99Kayali used to have my all-time favourite perfume! It was grapefruit and bergamot and super fresh. It smelled gorgeous on application and lasted into the evening (not onnoxious. If you were hugged, they could pick up the scent). However, it was discontinued a year or two back. Subsequently, the prices have risen significantly. I picked up one of the newer fragrances (deep red bottle, smells like red apple and berries). It is also a yummy scent, but it doesn't last! So not only is it way more expensive, you need to spray it more throughout the day. Meaning it runs out super quickly. It saddens me and I won't be repurchasing 😕

As someone who got a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and hasn’t been able to land a design job since graduating years ago… AI seems to help make a lot of people/companies think there is little to no need to hired trained/skilled designers… they think that they don’t need to hire real designers because they can do it themselves -or- they think they can pay designers next to nothing to do 20 different tasks.

PSA for pasty folks, do you know some of us have cool olive skin?? I've been wanting the About Face foundation based on comments from this channel (so not a totally random comment even if nothing to do with this vid lol), just happened to come across fair cool olive beauty gurus and took a chance on the brand's F2 Olive shade. It's a perfect match 😭 I swear you'd never think I was a fellow Kermit, I look a lot like Theresa but always knew no foundation was quite a perfect match. You cannot tell where this foundation ends and my bare skin begins... I'm in disbelief even though I've been messing with mixing green correctors with all my foundations since I found out this is a thing. Look up fair cool olive skin and you'll see a young pale KZreadr with blonde hair and blue eyes who talks about it, I'm not sure if saying her name on another channel is ok. I'm so excited! I'm an elder millennial that finally has a foundation match.

I feel that this perfum bottles design is how CT expressed her rage, sadness and overall disappointment with not letting her do a Pillow Talk fragrance 😂😅

Can someone please explain why these Hourglass palettes seem to send everyone into a meltdown? I have never tried them simply because the cost is just STOOPID for 6 teeny pans of shimmery powders... please enlighten me so I can join the party .. I feel like Billy-no-mates here !!!!

It's just hype I have two of the holiday palettes they are just okay they are nice but other formulas are just as nice you cannot use the finishing powder under the eye as a finishing powder either it clumps up in certain spots to create clumps of shimmer. The blushes are nothing special and the glowy blushes are too glowy as for the highlighters they are subtle but other brands make subtle highlights too

I just received my Blend Bunny order in the mail 2 days ago, and while I haven’t actually compared the eyeshadow palette side-by-side with the others, I can see that it’s completely unnecessary if you own Blends & Primal… The shimmers are the only difference, but even those are really just toppers… That said, I still don’t regret purchasing it 😂 I also picked up the pink blush trio & the skin glaze, and absolutely love both. As for the Hourglass palettes, I will be purchasing both, although I already have several from previous editions 🤣 And, I’m going to definitely pick up the L’Oreal highlighters, and at least half of those NYX blushes…

I, like a lot of people out here, seem to be really taken with the new NYX blushes. They just look like candy and I want them all. But I’m seeing reviews that they’re really highly pigmented, and I just don’t want that. After being so exacting with eyebrows, eye makeup, spot concealing, whatever, I just want a break - I want to sweep blush and bronzer freely and liberally over my face. I don’t want to dab just a little on and have to blend and blend and freak out about evening out a big pink splotch. But I agree, makeup is getting exciting again. I can even get excited about these blushes that I don’t think are right for me!! 😂😂😂 (Watch me get two anyway)!

Hear me out - The DM yummy skin balms are FANTASTIC under your foundation, to keep oils at bay all day. I’m normal skinned. But if I use this under my foundation in my T Zone and my cheeks / I won’t have to powder AT ALL, all day long. I can sweat. Just let it reabsorb. It’s been a game changer. I didn’t care for the universal shade. I use shade 1. Use my foundation brush and apply it over my moisturizer. It’s been amazing. No more powdering. No more added cake. I used to have to powder throughout the day - not anymore. I don’t notice much as far as pore filling or smoothing out of my skin / but that’s fine. Not having to powder is so nice.

Ylang-ylang is one of my favourite scents. We had a huge range of essential oils to play with when I was doing my diploma in beauty therapy, like we'd mix up our own massage oils and how to actually use essential oils safely before this fucking hype started around "rub this on your temple for headaches!" No. Don't. Don't ever put undiluted essential oils on your skin omg. But yeah, Ylang-ylang, amazing. Now I want to go buy a bottle but it's SO SUPER EXPENSIVE. But not as expensive as pure Jojoba oil

There was this witchy woman in our area when I was a teen who we called "the herb lady." She made concoctions, teas, potpourri, and also sold plants and taught how to grow thrm. She used old perfume bottles, Mason jars, etc. So cool.

I had the same experience with Kayali at Sephora and I think that the perfumes there are exposed to light, which makes them “expire”. My boyfriend also smelled an acetone kinda smell from the Musk perfume in store, yet the one I have at home does not have that smell at all. Also the colour of my perfume is very different from the one in store.

a different youtuber was saying that the CT perfumes were really woo compared to her usual line, like the opposite of Nancy from the Craft xDDD MYSTICAL BUTTPLUGS JFC loving this episode! 🤣🤣🤣 the hismile toothpastes are still gonna be the bit minty aftertaste apparently, a youtuber also had her jizzies with a flavour and was somewhat about the hype cos the flavours not what she expected, but hopefully the chupachups ones better?

i would actually love to see the L'oreal video! I'm so curious about a lot of their products but even the drug store brands are getting pricey! I do think L'oreal is a bit slept on sometimes though, as far as the sort of old school drug store brands we and all our moms bought back in the day go. I've always loved the Infallible liquid lipsticks, I think the formula and application is way nicer than the Mayelline Super Stay. I just wish they had the shade range of the Super Stay lippies.
