It’s amazing how the drug store makeup I put on gets complimented the most when I go out. Someone asked me one time about the lip gloss I was wearing. It was the cover girl yummy gloss 😂. Another time I wore my L’Oréal Infallible foundation and a lady said I have beautiful skin. I’ll take it!

No way, that Revlon Illuminance foundation is also my Holy Grail! I have super oily skin and it pairs so well with other products and wears so beautifully!

I wanna try it so bad, but I wish I could find a shade match in it. Revlon's foundation shades always skew orange and that's not gonna work for my olive skin 😭

It’s so funny that you said Revlon is number one. I love that foundation too and I am a luxury snob. You said haus labs, which is one of my favorites and Nars is a favorite , and then when you said Revlon I was like oh yes!this truly is a wonderful wonderful foundation sometimes house labs can settle into the label nasal folds if I powder it. But this Revlon, is so so good.❤

I’m glad you talked about the Isamaya palette because it is GOOD. You can do a full eye look with it as a stand alone and the shimmer shades stay on for HOURS. It’s a winner.

A tour de force! Thank you for a year of torturing your skin to find the best! I know it probably won't be worth it in the long run, but it's a long haul for your team, and we ❤ u for it! Haus Labs foundation in shade 00 is a game changer for me as a corrector to lighten my normal luxury foundation, to allow me to use deeper shades in brands that don't have a shade fair enough to match me. The Haus Labs finish is right up there with my regular foundation, and it mixes beautifully. I can now use things like a deeper skin tint (like Chantecaille) by adding a drop from the Haus Labs bottle. Suddenly my drawer full of rejects are no longer all rejects. 👌

Fellow Libra here, I am just finally exploring higher end/ different products so don’t have many faves yet. Melt gel eyeliners, ofra highlighter, nyx fatoils, almost any cream blush and my fenty foundation stick are my current go to’s. Thanks for giving me some other good products to try as I navigate my new found love of make-up/skincare!

I bought a CoverGirl powder in a purple compact, but it has a different front label. I think I might have meant to buy the one you showed here. I still want that one, but I actually really like the purple one, too. And re: that Jones Road bronzer - I had it for like five months before I even tried it out. I wasn't ready to deal with a whole new product that's unlike anything else I have, I love sweeping regular brown bronzer on with my massive fluffy brush, and I was trying to make a dent in my blush collection. But lo and behold, once I tried it, I loved it. I'm taking some time to make a dent in that product too, what's the difference, as long as I'm using something I spent my money on. It is soooooo nice. It's such a nice overall touch of bronzer and blush at the same time. I do recommend it to others as well.

I use the tinted one in shade 1, I'm actually fairer than Theresa I use number 1 at Fenty. I love that it can give be used for a no makeup makeup look to just slightly even out any discolouration and to stop the oils. That is an item I stock up on when it's on sale! I also bought the one size secure the sweat primer, but of course it wasn't in stock in the UK until summer ended, I'm looking forward to trying that when it gets hot. Always on the hunt to stop my oils appearing. I'm 45 and so now my skin is that awkward combination oily, on the upside oily skin stays looking younger, no wrinkles yet!

I discovered her one day on QVC and really found her products quite lovely with my favorites being her blushes, powder foundation (i prefer the double take version over the other popular one), body powder (amazing!), and her kajal liners are my favorites! All the highlights are stunning!!! I know folks keep saying they are not wearing highlighters but I’m sooooo here for it!! Bring the alien sl*t glow, I’m here for it!!!

I just recently got the NARS foundation. I just did a spot test on my hand to see what was up. I was blown away and it was just a random patch on my hand. I love Gucci and Lisa Eldridge lip products, but I’ll happily see what Prada is about one of these days.

agree with you on every single level with the illuminance Revlon foundation. it's so good. everyone needs it. it's so nice. it works in the heat, it works in the cold it works in Ohio winter and Florida summer. it makes my skin look better, it feels soft and having oily combo skin I only need to set like... under my eyes a bit and on my forehead. if you need foundation, it's this one. I will die with it. it's light coverage it's medium coverage and it's just GOREGOUS!!! bonus that it's safe for my sebhoreic dermatitis: doesn't make me break out!

Yay! The Fenty Beauty brow pencils! I never hear anyone talk about them, and I love them. I like the formula, but for me, the really amazing thing about this product is how many colors it comes in. I have auburn hair. Many brow products completely ignore redheads or come in one orange shade. Fenty has 2 redhead shades and 2 auburn shades. Amazing! Sure the brush on the end is stupid, but I just use a spoolie on the end of one of my eyebrow brushes. I also stock up whenever there is a sale.

Thank you for suggesting the revlon foundation! I am shocked how much I love it. The only other foundation that looks this good is the covergirl and olay 3 in one liquid foundation. EVERY other foundation or skin tint has been a sad disappointment.

Wow never thought I’d see a drugstore foundation ranked so high. Was really impressed with Revlon Illuminance too except for the shade range. Couldn’t find the perfect shade. I discovered Laura Geller through the Wheel of Fortune collection too and bought most of the line during the big end of year sales. I’ve been happy with everything I’ve tried so far and like that a lot of the formulas are made in Italy. Great choices. ❤

Great list. Different products than the other people I follow, but they make sense and include K-beauty items. I also use a mix of products, though the only high end ish item I have rn is a very old Marc Jacobs powder that I am attempting to replace. Looks like I will have to try the covergirl one but it is sold out online.

I loved that this year Pat Mcgrath put 2 limited edition shades in her face palette so we got a new highlighter and a new blush shade. In previous years her face palettes were just copies of the regular line so that was a welcome change. I've never bought them before because of that but I love her blush and highlighter formulas so much I had to have the new shades.

I wish the shade marcher on Ulta worked for the Revlon foundation because I just checked again to make sure it wasn’t user error… no, they think my shade based on wearing M01 Punjab in NARS is creamy natural. That was a step beyond casket ready to haunting ready. Probably would be one of the “sand” or “beige” shades but I’m just going to use what I have now and try again later 😂
