Storm is my favourite line these days. Really hope they do more anime stuff in the future. The Baki figures are INSANE.

My first ever order from BBTS was D Arts Megaman X on June 5, 2011. Been a loyal customer ever since. I wish they would implement a reward system for those who have spent thousands of dollars over the years. Still the most trustworthy toy company out there, it's cool you work with them

D Arts MegaMan looks dope. He's kind of expensive now. I'm about 4 years in collecting and like BBTS but shopping around has saved me money. If I can't find a figure cheaper then BBTS pile of loot it is.

I am surprised you haven’t done Baki or Yujiro Hanma its crazy they or the best of the Storm collectables in my opinion Please do a review on them both

So far, Genjuro and Jada's M.Bison are on my list for figures of the year. The quality and value for your dollar is insane! I also suggest you look up info on Genjuro. He is the epitome of badass samurai rival and has some pretty cool moves to recreate with this figure. Amazing piece for me.

Storm’s massive leap in quality makes me pretty salty they lost the MK license. Jada would be a cool budget line but storm is on another level currently

All mk licenses are frozen. That means there may yet be more figures in the future when wb wakes up

They are focus on king of fighters they even rereleased terry bogard. Jada toys also has them stepping up over the past year

This makes me want a really good Samurai Jack figure. It’s kind of nuts that we have never gotten one.

I just received the Storm Collectibles Terry Bogard reissue from BBTS last week. I’m still somewhat new to the line, but If I had more space and less financial self discipline, I’d be buying these figures left and right. Kibagami here is VERY tempting even though I’m not familiar with the property either.

Im putting a date on my age, but when Samurai Showdown II first came out in the arcade - Genjuro was my go to. He was 1 of 4(i thnk) new characters introduced in the sequel.

Great review as always Anthony, i suggest maybe you must review storm collectibles baki... Thats one good figure imo

I don’t have any storm collectible figures (and with that $105 price tag I probably never will) but this guy looks so cool I have never even heard of samurai showdown before this video but this guy is sick. As much as I love action figures i cannot justify spending that much on a single figure

Do you spend that much on multiple cheaper figures? You'll likely enjoy one expensive one more than multiple cheaper ones. Worth a try imo. The value per dollar is much higher

Great figure. Genjuro Kibagami is in my top 3 Samurai Shodown characters, Galford being #1 and a toss up between this fellow and Amakusa. Fun fact: Amakusa Shiro was a good guy.

The torso discoloration reminds me of the buff Goku figure. Strange that you didn't mention it here. Maybe it's only visible on camera? I wonder how the figure would have came out with nice cloth, wired pants. For $105, I think they could have done it. It could have put the figure on another level. All in all I like the design but I feel conflicted on certain features. Regardless, thanks for the review :)

Should've used soft goods for the pants. Mafex and revoltech have really stepped up the soft goods game.

Samsho is great. There are certain characters I’d buy just to have’em like this guy. I wish I had got into the KOF ones. Not sure what the prices look like now for older ones.

Anthony, I have a question for you. Would you rather keep the part in between the torso and the arms? for a while now i feel like they could just make the torso chest cut longer, and since its flexible, it would still allow for movement and help the aesthetic. what do you think about that joint system with the floaty shoulder part, would you do it differently?

Genjuro is super underrated as a character, he is Badash

Great overall figure who just pops on a shelf. I thought the 4x hair was also a strange choice(very welcomed) but little bit of heat and you can give them a slightly different look.

Curious to see your review on Yujiro because mine was full of quality control issues. Left leg refuses to stay in the hip joint and is really difficult to get back in due to the cloth pants. That, and the silicone-like material around the neck is breaking all over the place after a few posing sessions.

I got him. His small diapper killed the interest for me. Sucks because he’s one of my favorite characters in that series. Also the they’ve been nailing the diagrams lately. No gaps whatsoever

Kinda hate how much I enjoyed this game now that I have to keep buying these figures

as good as storm does rubber materials they should have made the whole hakama rubber like that Jin figure.

Strong release from Storm. definitely recommended.

Just got the reissue iori and god its a wonderfull figure but no rugal effect but still beatiful

I'm not. Super 7 makes pretty bad products that cost way too much in my experience. Another company would excite me.

Question: how would you say the Beast Kingdom Jubei Samurai Shodown figure stands up to this? I remember your review, but am curious about your thoughts on the two different approaches to the Samurai Shodown property (which is one of my favorites; I wish someone would make the full character roster...). Storm wins for me. I like their style more

Storm has never seemed to figure out that when someone yells or smiles, their eyes and eyebrows change shape also. They always copy/paste the eyes as much as possible, really bothers me

I love SamSho. This looks great, but I wish a company that didn't charge near $100 a figure would make them. Same goes for all the SNK characters. When you don't buy them they tend to just go up in price. Baggy pants tend to be tough to engineer well. The yelling head looks like he is yawning. I heard Storm sculpts their figures by hand still, they may just be re-scultpting the mouth and not the rest of the face. Either way they could do better. If you replace the sculpted top with a soft that would solve the issue of the upper body popping off.

Samurai Jnco jeans. If only he had a wallet chain.

I'm always for additional hair/hair accessories, but fool on me for not explicitly stating they should be *different* pieces. 😵‍💫

Sol bad guy from storm did it too, he had a few extra hair pieces that was all the same

So quick to blame pinless joints you had to catch yourself lol I tease but, the engineering in the pants is quite overdone.
