If you have room, I would save the vintage items, even blue ones, because sometimes our taste changes as we age. Vintage items are getting so hard to find in many areas and you have such great items. I wrap fragile figurines in old, clean socks. You always dress so nicely when filming.

Great packing tips!

My mother was an a Harry and David cake for a long time and purchased those Asian pairs for us every holiday. So I kept those boxes for glass ornament storage pieces because they have a soft kind of padding above the partitions and they are petitioned like those cardboard boxes that you are using

I do most of this but need to remind myself to sort out things I no longer want. Also a great time for my planner of things I need or want to be on the lookout for next year.

I put them on shelves in my basement and the really big ones that go outside are on shelves in my garage ☺
