Can't believe it's been 2 years since you got the farm, only feels like a couple of months ago I was watching you fit the new roof on the house 😮

Amazing to see how neat the farm is starting to look with fences and gates. Just think of all the time that can now be dedicated to building the home.

I love the last 2 minutes of that, I can feel the restrained frustration. Your kids are obviously having a ball though :)

Hi from Japan. Big fan of the channel, though I rarely comment because I'm watching YT on the living room unit. Lovely to see the girls hammocking while you work.

A lot of kids these don’t get the opportunity to get wet and muddy , and it’s so important for our immune system . Plus of course it’s tremendous fun . Regards to all 😀👍

Good job Tim. The dumper flat happened for a reason. You needn't have worried about shifting that silt just spin round with the digger and dump it on the field

I would think that silty mud would be quite good for the veg patch.

We used to have a pond feature, and the best way we found to cut the reeds was a a vintage sickle-mower off the back of our equally vintage Massey-Harris tractor. They don’t play well with fences, unfortunately.

Can you explain what the problem is with box strainers for the grant? I know diagonal struts are more traditional in the UK but boxes are the norm in countries building much more fencing than we have and they are also good for soft ground. Is the grant stopping innovation/progress in the UK.

So Tim likes Tom because he’s a fan of big knockers. Cue Benny Hill music. 😂

Hi, unfortunately the contact page on your website doesn't seem to be working so trying here instead. We are in Gloucestershire for a holiday in mid April and would like to purchase some meat to take home with us. Is it worth purchasing now online and could we pick up in April or should we wait until closer to the time to order do you think? All the best with the home build!

Would have been tempted if not just spreading the silt next to the pond, to take it up the hill to improve the soil up there… I suspect your girls went to a bit of effort getting themselves stuck 🤣

Just be wary of dumping the silt on the field if the EA get wind of it. So many hoops to jump through as its classed as special waste and needs testing etc

I commented about box struts on one of your videos a couple of months ago. About our nabours getting told off for using them in the grants. And instead of re doing all of them, just added a stake at 45 it wasn't doing anything at all. Took pictures of it, sent that back to them and it was accepted..... It's all a bit of a joke.

Unfortunately man made bodies of water silt up remarkably quickly.Making it easy to dredge out is essential if you want to keep on top of the silting.
