It's no problem to get more of the inserts from Amazon or other vendors but one thing I've found is that they are not all the same. The crimp holds the insert in the panel, but the serrations keep it from spinning. Some cheapie inserts have barely formed serrations, just try to get decent quality inserts. They also give you a little latitude on the drill hole size.

I always thought "Doyle" was like "oil" with a "d" in front of it. But only because I knew someone with the last name and that's how it was pronounced. 😀

Definitely need one of these in my life though... Had no idea such a thing existed! I can already think of a thousand places where this would save a ton of time or at least come in handy (heck I'm already counting up the hours and times in my head I could've saved in the past lol).

Yeah now that you mentioned it I probably pronounced that wrong.......lol Yeah they started using them at work and let me tell you it makes a big difference when you go to remove a panel. Some times it took two people because one had to hold the nut one the bolt. I have been wanting one ever since and seen this one at HF.

Cool. Harbor freight does not say what size mandrels it comes with. Are you able to reply with the metric and SAE sizes? Thanks.

Hello it comes with 10-24, 1/4-20, 5/16-18, M5, M6 and M8 mandrels.

they told me today i have to call the tool hotline when i need more of the rivets. good video tho!

Amazon has the nuts for a great price. Can you get other mandrels? I would like to have #8 as well.

The store still doesn’t have any rivet nuts that I can find. Once I run out guessing I’m buying them from Amazon. You can probably get different brand Mandrels to fit but I would be worried about not enough leverage at that point.

Can i get an attachment for a 3/8 riv nut

My Harbor freight did not have more nuts, had to order form Amazon , also the instructions are just shit
