And him smelling every product before he applies it🤣🤣🤣 My absolute favorite part of his videos. I actually laugh out loud every time he does it. I hope this tip helps some people- When watching Robert (or anyone in a video) apply products, try slowing down the playback speed. This really helps me get a look at exactly where the brush/tool is being placed and the exact movements he's using to disperse or blend the product. I wish I would have figured this out a long time ago! It's such a simple trick that can really help you understand how to use your brushes and how to place color!

I’m not sure if you’ll care but maybe! And I’m excited so I want to share it. I did my mom’s makeup about a year ago and it did not look good. I’ve watched a lot of videos of makeup artists doing makeup on mature skin. I did her makeup today and it looked so good! I messed up by deepening up her crease too much making them look more deep set than they are but my husband helped me figure out my mistake (it’s been his job to help me pin point what exactly isn’t working on me that I don’t like for the last 7 years and he’s really good at picking up on subtle details lol) so now I know how to fix it for her big speech later this week 😁 FYI, I wish I were a makeup artist but I have a sleeping disorder that makes me not able to keep normal hours. Maybe someday though

I've been drawing my eyebrows on badly for 20 years and the tip of starting at the bottom line, and filling in from there has made my brows look decent instead of like they were drawn on by a child with a crayon. I actually enjoy my brow shape now instead of fighting it with a pencil. Thankyou!

Lots of brides go for a more natural look with soft browns and minimal liner (just enough to blend the false eyelashes in) with a nude lip that compliments their skin tone. But it really is all up to what makes you feel beautiful and what you are comfortable in. Roberts tips are really helpful for pretty much all makeup looks so just apply them to the colors and products your using and you will look stunning. Have a blessed wedding and have the night of your life!

Even knowing some of the "bad" techniques just work better for what I am working with, I always really appreciate the tips I haven't tried, but I have definitely added so many of your techniques to my routine. Also, the lack of judgement you speak with when we have all seen the videos with people ragging on things a lot of us do with results that are solid is a breathe of fresh air.

I know that awhile back you asked for eye primer recommendations, Ulta beauty’s tinted eye primer in satin blush has been the only thing that doesn’t crease on me. Yes it’s got color and yes it has shimmer but honestly when I put shadow on top you don’t notice it at all. And it doesn’t effect the color of the shadow. You might try it! I show quarter horses so in the summer when I’m pouring sweat my shadow is still perfect!

My real eyeshadow problems are all size related. I'm tiny(petite) and so is my face, and so are my eyes. They fit my face great, but my brushes? All HUGE. They're normal to smaller sized brushes, but they're so giant compared to my face(and especially my eyelids) that blending can be an.... adventure on a bad make-up day. Doesn't help that I have hooded eyes.
