Yes it's amazing how the camera crew managed to film it without dancing. Best concert movie ever and IMO it has the best version of the song Psychokiller

HOLY CRAP. I was actually *at* the concert where STOP MAKING SENSE was filmed, at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in 1983. I was thirteen and it was my first concert, I was in the third row on the right-hand side. I will *so* be there 40 years later as it's re-released in theaters in remastered 4K glory!

I have gotten sooooo many people into Talking Heads over the years, just by showing them 'Stop Making Sense' and each and every person became a fan instantly! Including, my two sons and I literally just watched it with my 11-year-old a couple of weeks back. Can't wait for this 🔈🔉🔊❤️

This promo was very well executed! The dry-clean picking up, the A24 ticket with the original release date on it, the “you got it” dialogue, David carrying THE Suit while biking - short and sweet! I adore this ❤️‍🔥

A24, you guys have just cemented yourselves as my favorite movie studio!

This live show really shows why Talking Heads are legendary. It's one thing to sound absolutely incredible on a studio recording. And it's a whole other amazing thing to sound as (if not more) absolutely incredible live. Speaking in Tongues is one of my favorite albums of all time.

Stop Making Sense is one of my favorite movies ever. I'm so excited for this and I really hope it plays in a theater near me.

Perfect use of Naive Melody. "Home...." right as he puts on the suit along with the roar of the crowd as it transitions to him dancing on stage 40 years prior. What an amazing promo.

I saw this three times when it originally came out on the big screen back in the day. I even got my 70yr old mum to go see it and she loved it. The best concert movie ever.

Is that David Burne as a old man? Talking heads is my favorite band. I learned about them in the early 1990s when I was learning to scratch records in my basement (I was a tiny kid)--i grew up on hip hop. My mom had a fantastic music collection on vinyl and I abused many great albums, but Talking Heads was one I would just listen to--still to this day Life During Wartime is my number one Karaoke go to.

David, NEVER stop being you. You my friend are amazing. Saw you in Hollywood (Greek Theater) at the height of popularity of Burning Down The House...had to dance through the crowd to get to the bathrooms. One of the best concerts ever.

I’m so used to cringing when I see something being “rebooted” these days, then I saw A24 was behind this and I instantly knew this amazing source material would be treated with respect. Love this company. :) ❤

God I love this movie and album so much. I listened to the album to death when it came out; though I didn't actually see the movie until about 15-20 years later. It was so incredible to see the amazing visuals to the sounds that I had been listening to all those years. Certainly in the top three of concert films of all time. Never stop being incredible A24

I watched TH live in Providence, RI in 1983/1984 and it was a BANGER! Just impossible to keep from dancing. Me and my 3 buddies were tripping on blotter acid (not recommended for the uninitiated) and it was kinda magical.

I dosed on MDMA while listening to True Stories. By the time "Papa Legba" was playing, I was rolling hard! It was an immensely pleasurable and unforgettable experience. TH is my favourite band.
