Stop Loss Hunting and Dancing with the Smart Money in Forex Trading · Djamal Adib
EP 247 | Stop Loss Hunting and Dancing with the Smart Money in Forex Trading | Djamal Adib
It’s about time we have a discussion on Forex Trading, but this is not your average Forex Trading discussion.
Some Forex traders may be unaware of how stop loss hunting and market manipulation is done by the smart money. Like many Forex traders, ex-stockbroker Djamal Adib experienced early losses which compelled him to study the inner workings of Forex trading, and how stop loss orders are hunted by the smart money.
Djamal spent four years pouring over thousands of chart patterns of different time periods and programmed his carefully back tested algorithms resulting in him winning an international Forex competition.
Djamal shares his enthusiasm and much wisdom of the opportunities and dangers of trading Forex and why you need an edge.

It may sound like a long shot to someone new to forex. But I can tell you for a fact that this manipulation is real and I have studied it and traded it for 3 years now. If you watch behavior on session openings, end of day, news. You will see it especially on smaller time frame. And once you see how they dance, you can't unsee it coz they dance the same almost everyday, every week.

This is the best FX podcast ever! Finally someone who has the courage to expose the inner workings of the machine! Thank you CWT and Djamal!
Lol the bass of that intro is wild.

Tom Dante is the best imo.
I've dabbled in forex. And yes the iview was not the best, *but*(!) This guy has a treasure of free info on his channel. And for that alone i thank Aron immeasurably for bringing him to my attn. Just watch one of his vids and you instantly know and recognize what he is talking about. He shares an important piece of the forex puzzle. So thank you gentlemen. Anyone reading this:nvr mind iview, go to his KZread channel and just watch 1 of his vids for 2 min, and you know he's the real deal. Again very glad Aron had this guest. This is the most helpful podcast you produced so far, by simply bringing this guy to the mainstage!
Better questions can be asked. 👍

That's what I thought. Djamal was so curious about his trading, then he got interrupted by chitchat serveral times
It takes years to know the right timeframe, the right pairs, or the right time to trade. I had to print out 9,000 charts before I came up with a profitable strategy

The talk on crappy commercial bots is spot on.
33 Minutes in. Discusses his background, expectation management, discipline, manual vs automated trading, and the importance of backtesting. Brief description about market causality in general. Still waiting on details/value added portion.

@@KastorFlux Looking at your channel it seems that you are trying to sell commercial EAs, no wonder that you do not like what was being said here. Btw, you are not even using tick data in your EA backtesting, THAT is a newbie mistake. ;-) Lots of love.
Thank you for this opportunity. All the best!
the conversation should have been directed into a more meaningful area.
I like how Tessa's unassuming voice can still wield and command a respectable amount of authority.

@@ChatWithTradersPodcast OK, first, I've done podcasts so I know it's more than meets the eye, so I don't say this glibly. In this case both guest and host failed the audience. Both should know the audience. For the host, that starts with guest-selection. CWT has an established brand the guest probably knows. If they don't, then the burden is solely on the host; before the invite, before hitting record and during the interview. When you have a runaway guest who goes off on rambles, tangents or rants etc, it's on the host to rein them in ("Before we go there, I just want to ..."). If it continues then maybe stop the recording, have a word, start again, or, prepare to laboriously fix in the edit, or dump the episode; rather that than burnish the brand by wasting listeners' time. Yes, always give guests the chance to pimp something, but at the appropriate time; the guest should be made aware upfront. This is CWT. Finally, and most importantly, the questions. CWT is known for the right probing questions at the right time in the interview. This episode lacked that, and the resulting depth it's renowned for. The guest talked shallowly about ... I've already forgotten. I said I value my time, and then I wrote this! I hope it's useful. Good luck
