Here is the last message from Lance Beggs before he signed off: We’re coming up on three months since I decided to take an extended break from regular posting, so I guess it’s time to make a decision. I had hoped that a break would refresh me and reignite the passion that once existed for this venture. Unfortunately that has not been the case so it’s time for me to call an end to YTC. Absent the passion and excitement that drove me over the last decade and a half, the impact upon my own trading and my family life is no longer acceptable. I owe it to my wife and kids to focus more on them, on myself, on my own trading and other non-trading ventures. This has not been an easy decision as I’ve enjoyed the online relationship with many of you over the years. Perhaps I’ll be back one day. But for now, my path is elsewhere. I would like to thank all of you who have shared this journey with me. I’m pleased to know that the YTC Price Action Trader and regular blog posts have been instrumental in helping some of you progress along your own trading journey. YTC would not have been as successful as it was without your ongoing support and encouragement. For those who haven’t found their way yet, let me link you to one of the most recent posts. If there is one thing that I can confidently say after all these years, it’s that the most traders need a better review process. One that actively tracks and improves your performance. The strategy you choose is far less important. Start from wherever you are… and drive it forward through incremental tracking, reviewing and improving. For those new to my site who missed the journey, the blog posts will remain online until the next hosting renewal (sometime late this year). Thanks again. I wish you all the best of success with your trading. Forever grateful, Lance Beggs

What we need is a back-testable system that switches/cycles-through multiple strategies when one is failing. Say, switching from trend-following to range-trading/mean-reversion. But in a statistically sensitive way, before obvious large loss stop-outs.

RIP Jim Simons. Pity we never got a CWT interview, that could have been pretty cool. I've heard his method was essentially arbitrage of mean-reversion of groups of statistically correlated and anti-correlated financial instruments.

I started on the subject back in 2002(no youtube or Google those days)while working as a caretaker in Aspen, CO. . The gentleman(a billionaire) I worked for advised to look into buying and selling stocks and recommended to read the book "Day Trade on Line" by Christopher Farrell . I was immediately taken by the possibilities and the money making potential, and he told me about this free simulator called "Investopedia". In 2003 I opened a trading acc. at the so popular Scott Trade back then. Made money and lost money but I keep try till today.

Almost none of these comments understand how and why risk management is implemented. Convergent trader hit it on the head implementing the same risk reduction model that turtle traders used in their breakout method.

Confirming part of her strategy: Swing trading a range with multiple support & resistance touch points. Agreed. I look for charts with previous ranges that commonly hold longer than a few days. I prefer 1-2 weeks with maybe 10ish trade opportunities that show up repeatedly. Favorite strategy. Went 17/21 trades last two weeks with this. I am currently on a swing trade, 10th touch point to the support line, looking for 20-25% swing trade. Definitely got a subscriber here, awesome content

Try telling Mark Minervini and David Ryan technical analysis don’t work. From the start of time trading patterns have been repetitive and this is for anyone to see when going through charts so for this guy to say technical analysis don’t work is laughable. This guy has a chip on his shoulder about retail traders
