Great video!! My PB travel over 4 inches!!! on my 2680. I’m not strong enough either to lift my fluid tire in place… I did find it pretty easy to use a creeper & reach from the underside & not half to remove tire… yes I had to get up a few times to measure. I counted that as my workout for the day…….😊

Cool video - I've never checked my travel, but now I will. You know, on my BX1860 I use a shovel to go that last mile to lift the tire onto the studs, then tighten everything down.

😦 oh I’m way out of adjustment lol. I didn’t know the brake pedal went that high. Mine at rest without it applied is MAYBE 4” I didn’t feel like looking in the manual but I can always count on you to have made a video for whatever tractor question I had! 😂

Looks pretty quick and simple to adjust. I need to check mine since I'm over the 50 hour "break-in" on the tractor. The 50 hour service on the BX wasn't bad either, just lots of fluid to change...more of a hit on the wallet than anything...I think it took maybe an hour to change the engine oil/filter, fuel filters, and hydraulic fluid and filters....not too bad of a job, just messy...at least for me, an oil/filter change always requires dumping oil all over the place LOL. I still need to do the front axle, need to go over and get more hydraulic fluid first, I don't think I have enough left from the transmission/hydraulic system fluid change to do the front axle. Routine maintenance saves you a lot of down time in the future from wear and tear, and breaking things from lack of regular services and adjustments....spend a few minutes now doing the maintenance rather than several hours later fixing it...or worse waiting days, weeks, or months for the dealer to get to it to fix it.

Yeah, I thought the bottom fuel filter was the toughest part of that 50hr. I didn’t do my hydraulic fluid until 200. Just the filter. I also swapped the front axle fluid for gear lube. I think this is the second time I’ve adjusted my brake pedal. I’m at a little over 400hrs now…

@@PeeksPeakHobbyHomestead Is there any difference in operating feel having gear oil in the front axle instead of the hydraulic fluid? Wonder if they do hydraulic fluid because its a bit thinner so it flows down into the portal axles quicker and easier? I haven't really decided yet which way to go with the front axle fluid, I've heard several say they switch to gear oil and I don't think I've ran across anyone saying they've experience any issues, but the manual does say you can use either.

Brake pedal position is so bizarre on these tractors, why is it positioned so high that you need to lift your leg up to manipulate the pedal? It's like it was designed for a person with size 16 shoes.

So technically it isn’t meant to be a regular brake. It is a parking brake. The HST is meant to control the speed. I think that is the reason for the design.
