I've been there. It's a tough lesson to learn & heartbreaking... even soulbreaking for a minute.

You are a gift. I was already starting to see this in myself recently. I have a couple 12th house placements, including Leo north node in 12th house. I was just starting to realize that my 12th house was taking over with regards to how I see potential partners in my life. I just recently started clearing out people who should not be in my life, and people who even have a magician type vibe about them where they know I am seeing their higher self potential & they consciously choose to show me that version and intentionally hide their truest nature at this moment of their journey. Unfortunately, I had to admit that this pattern in me stems back to my relationship with my father, who is quite a problematic man & always tried to play the magician card with me & show me the version of himself he knew I was wishing was true. I had to finally address that in my life recently & now everything is getting cleared out that mirrors the same dynamic. Thank you for validating what I was already intuiting.

Neptune in the 1st inconjunct with Venus in the 8th 😵‍💫 whew girl, this was the biggest takeaway from my first relationship. Just recently I found myself falling into that old behavior of falling in love with the idea of someone, but luckily I caught what I was doing and pumped the brakes. my goodness Barbara, I have been thinking about this exact topic lately. I also have Venus conjuct Neptune, which doesnt help, and two planets in 12th house. I hadn't thought before that I am tapping into their highest self, gosh. it hurts a lot doesnt it. I only look at action now, and the dreamy fantasy stuff I have to watch carefully. thank you for speaking on this topic, I am not alone.
