Yes stocks are pretty unstable at the moment, but if you do the right math, you should be just fine. Bloomberg and other finance media have been recording cases of folks gaining over 250k just in a matter of weeks/couple months, so I think there are alot of wealth transfer in this downtime if you know where to look.

Since the crash, I've been in the red. I’m playing the long term game, so I'm not too worried but Jim Cramer mentioned there are still a lot of great opportunities, though stocks has been down a lot. I also heard news of a guy that made $250k from about $110k since the crash and I would really look to know how to go about this.

It was so great to hear the "Sticks & Stone" quote because thats what I was raised on which seems to be taboo or evil today. The sad thing is im only 45 & this new weak mentality seems to have taken over fast. They also used to teach that falling for "Peer Pressure" is bad & today everything is about letting others pressure you into what to think, feel & say. They will try to destroy you if you dont fall to there peer pressure. Everything is the complete opposite of what I learned.

To better understand and appreciate Dan Pena's take on love, one needs to realise there are two kinds of love: Strict Love (Fire aspect) and Gentle Love (Water aspect). Dan describes what is essentially the separation of these two kinds of love. What seems to be missing is the now-critical-need for humans to return to the origin, the ability to function from a base of unity centred on True Love - the harmoniously balanced unity of Strict Love (Fire) and Gentle Love (Water). When choosing this harmoniously balanced unity - with emphasis based on the Fire aspect - humans will regain the capacity of functioning from the space of Divine Love. This then allows True Health Harmony and Prosperity to flourish in everything. Dan at times talks of something similar - just in his own unique language - and to view everything else based on Right and Wrong is being shortsighted.

Becoming the best version of oneself, now that's one's gift to the world, their true conquered self.. if that is not Love, Faith, and Devotion, what is?! He is right to say that our perception of "love" is faulty and distorted, for true love has a price, it requires sacrifice, hence why not many have it. Love is the end all be all, beginning and the end.

I am a snowflake and I will prefer to be like that than have this old school mindset.why the hell I would go back to this type of attitude.

My hardworking pops and uncles subscribed to all of these principles. "Don't cry like a girl." "Hit back!" "Be a Man!" None made it past working class. What tough-talkers like Pena need to acknowledge is that luck and privilege had as much to do with his success as any "masculine" principles that he's adhered to. Meanwhile, OVER reacting to pressure is just as bad (if not worse) than melting under pressure. I admit that my initial impulses can be reprehensible. My jefito also taught me that a real Man knows how to exercise restraint and remain calm under pressure. NOT be a bully because it's easy and convenient but strive to be Righteous because that's the challenge of being a Man.

That's because they probably never applied themselves to learn anything new or never tried to work for themselves. I can tell your mexican and my dad was a tough hard working guy but that wasnt enough because after work he would go and drink with his buddies and also on weekends. Wasted potential he was .
