Back before he became an annoying superstar. As a fan of his since 1999 the shift started happening back in 2006-2007 and gotten worse with every year since.

His voice is so insanely good.

+BigNick66 For what it's worth...He screams in Stone Sour all the time- like in 30/30-150 and sings all the time in Slipknot- like Vermillion Part 2. Actually the album that this song is on is almost entirely heavy a.f. This song is so out of place on that album (but oh so good).

yes, I know he screams in some stone sour songs and clean sings in slipknot... but slipknot is not known for being clean and stone sour isn't known for being "heavy".

This is one of the last songs my son and I listened too a week before he died. Now I cry every time I hear it. Beautiful Song but sad.

I'm so sorry for your loss.

This proves what a great musician Corey is, he can put all of his heart and soul into his fantastic screaming with Slipknot, but can also put his heart and soul into a beautiful acoustic song, freaking awesome!

It's crazy to know the masked monster looking guy with the growl of a demon is this same guy who can sing like a fuckin angel! Haha! Talent and love for music!!!

Fun Fact: He drank a bottle Jack just before this, because he was very nervous. Well.. at least one thing I know after reading a book😂 great book🙂

Wow from all the versions of the song i heard, this one is the best

He almost cries at 3:36....you can tell he really put a lot of his heart into writing that song.

You can just see how much this song means to Corey by how much effort he is putting in.

@@nose-bleed it makes perfect sense if you know the history. Corey Taylor speaks openly about being so hammered during one of his live performances on T.V. that he kept fucking it up. I was saying it wasn't this performance, it was the Jay Leno one where he has the skidrow shirt on. He talks about it in his book.

i saw stone sour last year and i must say it was one of the most exhilerating gigs ive ever been to. corey singing acoustic to through glass, and wicked games was just mindblowing.
