Theo and Bee gave up their busy city lifestyles in 2014 to explore alternative living, and have lived in vans and boats since then without looking back! Along with their cat Ginjey Bear they have been driving around the world in their self converted Sprinter van. However, when the global pandemic hit they began converting their abandoned stone barn in Central Portugal to turn into a wonderful tiny stone cottage. Along the way, they have rescued a playful cat called Furrnando and have a wonderful flock of Chickens!

these ruins were incredible. The art craft gorgeous, such a shame it was abandoned. It must feel very magical to stumble upon and visit by oneself such a magnificent place. Your happiness with the project of the stone house shines through. THe animals must be so happy to have their mama back. Wish all the best to all your projects and good health for all, bipeds and quadrupeds.
For grins and giggles I would get a geiger counter and check the grounds and water. The hotel is beautiful!
It was so good to see you again, Bee. Hearing your voice and seeing your smile are a real pleasure. I'm glad you're feeling better, too.
I loved exploring that gorgeous old hotel with you Theo! What a glorious place it must have been, because it still appears glorious! Nice find! Thank you for sharing!
Great too see Bea again. Hope the healing goes rapidly. The radium hotel was beautiful.
That ruin was amazing ! Thank you for taking us with you on this adventure! Bea it was great seeing you! ❤
The radium hotel is stunning. Certainly gives inspiration to a project. So great to see that your stone house project is progressing. These big projects cannot be rushed. Slowly and steadily everything will come together. Lovely to see Bee out with the goats and gingy.
Good ideas Theo. Bee you are looking great.
You are surrounded by history and beauty.
What a shame all of that beautiful stonework is not being enjoyed by people. The quality of work is just outstanding.
Bee it was great to see you in front of the camera again looking beautiful as always. Be safe live well and have fun.
Bee you. Bee natural. Be the Bee. We all love!
Congratulations 🎊 👏🏿 Bae 😍 ❤️ 💘 continue healing beautiful one.💐💐💐💐💐💐

Thank you ❤️
I've stayed in several cave homes on the Greek islands. There are no windows, just the light that comes through the window at the door. This helped to keep it cool in the hot summers. The more windows you have the more light and heat. The walls in the cave homes are painted white to give the rooms light and airy feeling. Good luck with the project. I'm excited to see how it turns out. I know it will be amazing which ever way you choose to go. As always, loving the videos.
Love the idea of a large folding glass door on that lower level of your stone renovation house. It will let in so much light and be beautiful looking out at nature when all cosy inside ❤
That old hotel waas amazing , such a sad tale though ,thinking of all the people that it will have made ill . I cant wait to see your property progress, and Bee , its was lovely to take a walk with you and the goats . You look great , but its lovely to hear you talking about the goats , and seeming so relaxed .
Lovely to see you again Bee! Wish I had a forest to take walks in... enjoy every minute of it Bee!
I am just really grateful that your main house and the shop didn’t burn and everything is really growing back beautifully sure there’s some good stuff but your property is beginning to look beautiful again you’ll get there love to you guys
I know I’m a month behind when you posted this… but I still wanted to comment and let you know how nice it is to see you Bee. Your whole demeanour has changed! You look so much brighter and more joyful. This makes my heart so happy for you. You have such a sweet personality and huge heart, hearing of your mental health struggles made me so sad for you. It’s so nice to see that your surgery has made such a huge impact in your life ❤❤❤ Also, your hair in this vid is 🔥
I enjoyed the history and a bit of an explore. Thanks for sharing that with us.
That was a beautiful ruin with an interesting story. Thank you!
This was a great find. You trickster on the water bottle lol. Take care.
It would take 100 million dollars to bring that whole ruin back to life, and then no one would come to stay. No matter where the hotel got it’s water, most people wouldn’t want to be close to that much radioactivity. But it certainly is a beautiful old ruin and the views from the main hotel are spectacular! I would put a window in the front and back, maybe two in the back.❤️🤗🐝
Hi Bea!!!!! You look so good. Hope you're feeling terrific.
You and Bee have been through a lot of loss. We are all so happy that you have held on.
Super nice to hear Bee’s voice especially when she’s talking nature and animals.
Oh gosh Theo and Bea! Have you had your water tested specifically for radioactive elements? I don't think that's something routinely tested for? I know in Nevada because there is a lot of Granite stone under homes, that they test for Radon gas levels in your home. The granite stones here, emit the radioactive gas into your home.
So lovely having Bee back. I feel your pain on the long recovery after the historic fire & having very real heartbreak & trauma over the loss of trees. I think the Abandoned Radium Hotel Exploration should be its own video, it was super fascinating! That 1st building stole my heart. It would drive more traffic to your channel which is perfect timing for the Stone House Reno series which is going to be so interesting.
You should vlog from some of your motorcycle rides. Would love to see some of the local area and sights! The hotel ruins was a great find and a fun explore.
Those ruins were incredible! What a cool find. I can imagine how grand it once was. I loved the tour. That's a huge project, but I sure wish someone would take it on. To see such craftsmanship go to ruin is heartbreaking.

I would love to a picture when it was in its glory.
wow thx for showing us the ruins......such beautiful views I really hope the levels are down & it's safe for you to be walking around there 🤷♀️ I'm sure it is sence other people have been roaming around there just don't want you to get sick and everything ..... I'm glad y'all got the go ahead to start the renovations on yalls stone house ... hope your leg is better by now also 💖
Glad to see and hear Bea! Made my day!
Bee you are looking so good. Love the hairstyle suits you
❤ a bit of Urban exploring, fabulous building, surprising info, you only ever think of radioactive substance from Nuclear power plants. 😮 x
Thanks for the beautiful hotel tour, Theo! Lovely video. Nice to see you both! ❤❤
OMG Theo. The stonework on the radioactive hotel is beautiful. I suspect it's never going to be a safe place. What a shame. Your little stone building has a bright future. I totally get how tragic it is to loose 200 year old forests.
Thanks for sharing this video, Bea and Theo! Bea, you look radiantly beautiful! And, Theo, that hotel! What treasures you might find there!❤
Bee, it’s lovely to hear you back on the mountain. In sure all the animals were. Rey happy to see you back. The plans for the house sound amazing. You will both have a lot of work ahead of you but I have every faith in both of you that you will achieve it. Look after yourself Bee and take it easy. Spring will be here soon and it will be wonderful n the mountain. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Bea so wonderful to see you and the goats 🐐 out for a wander in the woods !
Theo and Bea, I liken the fires and the destruction you faced to us experiencing Hurricanes Irma and Maria, back-to-back Cat 5 hurricanes within days of each other. When Mother Nature kicks up as she did to both of you and us, there is nothing that can be done but deal with what she doled out. The positivity, smiles, can-do attitudes, and the "je ne sais quois" outlook that you have will get the two of you everywhere in life! Thank you so much for your videos. We look forward to your videos every week and thank you for all the hard work that is put into them in order for us to follow your lives. -Lin
Bifold doors are a great idea ! “If you build it, they will come”
I would love to see you next year when you’re ready to receive guests
Wow! It’s dreamy picturing the ruins up and running. I hope you both have a lovely week!
I couldn't watch some of those early episodes when people were admonishing y'all for lack of positivity. Any person of the land knew a good attitude and time wasn't going to replace what you bought and subsequently lost.⁷ In addition to mouring your devastating loss, you guys had to re-imagine that huge property you invested in after parts had been ruined. Those irrigation lines alone will cost a fortune if you decide to replace them. I wouldnt be able to sleep at night for worry about erosion. I have the utmost respect for you two for having the moxy to attack the challenge Mother Nature left you. ❤
I loved this video!!! What an amazing hotel that must have been long time ago! Such a beautiful construction and landscape!!! I'm looking foreward to see how your building construction will turn out!!! Nice to see Bea walking with the goats!!! See you next time!!!
Thanks for sharing your adventure!! Glad Bee is doing so well.
You might want to get your spring water tested ? 👍
Super episode, you two! I really enjoyed Bea’s walk with the goats. That Aguas de Radium property was stunningly beautiful. Too bad about the radioactive water, though. Wishing you all well!
Hi Theo, and Bee wow, the Stonehouse is going to be wonderful when it’s finished, and I must say I had tears in my eyes when I seen Bee for the first time for a long time, I just love and appreciate you both so much every time I see a video from you I get so excited and I can see the animals are so happy to have Bee back keep up the good work love the videos and also love you guys Cliff from Logan City, Queensland, Australia 🇦🇺
Cool stonework at that Hotel. Keep in mind, Theo, that the hotel went under at the end of WWll. During the war years, even with Portugal staying a neutral country, there wasn't much call for resort spas. Even if the hotel is not rebuilt, this would be a killer location for filming movies, holding concerts and as an event venue. Thanks for sharing this incredible property!
Bea, it's wonderful to see you. You look great and we missed you. So glad to see you are back home and doing well.
Wow! What a find. Would love to paint there❤
Loved seeing the goats + appearance by Gingey! Bee & Theo, enjoyed the individual tours but do also look forward to seeing you together now that Bee is home! ❤
The ending was HILARIOUS ( though I must admit) I was thinking “Wait Theo….WHAT ARE YOU DOING???😳😳😳ARE YOU CRAZY”?😩😩😩 My brain ( after a couple of seconds) said to myself “ he’s joking”!!!!😂😂😂 You DEFINITELY had me for a tiny bit!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
That was a fascinating tour! Thank you for filming it.
I like the old hotel. The stonework is beautiful.
The was an amazing story about the history of the hotel, very interesting
That ruins is absolutely beautiful. And the big picture window will look nice downstairs
I love seeing you tidy up schrapnel/paraphernalia & crap from around the Property. The power of elimination is underrated.
You two lovebirds! Close enough to surprise each other. Theo, we knew you would want to surprise your blushing bride with a finished hide-away! 🎉🎉🎉
❤ 🐝 so happy to see your pretty smiling face! Theo is doing great but the both of you are just plain wonderful! Wishing you that every day makes you stronger, physically and mentally❤
First off so happy to see your stone house progressing. I loved to see Bee with her goats on a hike. And the stone masons on that hotel were impeccable. I wonder how long it took to build. I sincerely hope that bad water is not seeping thru the grounds to other water sources. Wonderful video Bee and Theo.
Great video Theo. Bea you look so well and love the hair ❤
This place is gorgeous. I hope somebody sees this video. That can fix it up. Just keep people away from the water. They can look at it. But, stay away from the water.
Love seeing your beautiful face/voice Bee, can’t wait to see what you and Theo come up with on miracle mountain.😃🧡👉🏼🇨🇦
Bea it’s so wonderful to see you walking goats in your forest, we all missed you. Thankful your operation brought you a better quality of life. Many blessings sweet young woman! May the green of this beautiful forest help in your healing. Blessings, Nana Mother Medicine
Thank you for historical and panoramic view video you did for sharing with us mate maybe we hope after this video someone very rich will buy thanks cheers 👍🙏👋🍻
Very happy to see Bee healthy again. YES Bee we’d like a video on your health struggles only if you want to share.
The new year is bringing exciting new projects and opportunities. So glad Bee is getting better and enjoying taking the goats and Gingie for a walk. Interesting to see the ruins of the hotel. I'm not surprised people stopped going, it's very dangerous to swim in radioactive water and even drink it! Well done to you both 😊
Another fantastic video so good to see the bubbly bea looking good and theo his optimistic self, your Irish friends 🇮🇪
I love love love the new hairstyle, Bee! It's nice to see you back :)
The changing room is gorgeous would make a beautiful home
The buildings have lasted quite well for all these years. It must have been beautiful. So glad you are feeling better Bee. The weather is improving in time for you to enjoy walks with the girls and see how wonderful nature heals.
It’s so good to see and hear you Bea!
The first building at old hotel looks EXACTLY like the bath houses for the sulfer baths built in the 20’s. They are still open in an active camping area. A inground pool is built inside with stone areas to sit in the water and places to set your towels. They pipe the water in from the stream. If the place is contaminated with radioactive radon they might have filled in the toxic pool and built a floor over it? 🤷♀️ just a theory. Take a meter back there one day and measure the toxicity of the area. That might be the issue with rebuilding, it’s a radioactive radon toxic zone.
Well after hearing all that about the waters, I would be for sure getting my own waters tested.. No Joke. take care.
The stone hotel is absolutely beautiful. I am really surprised the property entrance has not been chained off or locked up to keep out the unwanted homeless who might decide to move into one of the abandoned dwellings and make it their home. That would definitely happen where I live. The views are astounding! I am anxious to watch the restoration of your stone house. It is going to be a beauty! Bee you are looking great and I'm glad you are back. We all missed you and so did the animals.
That was so interesting! Thanks for taking us along!
So pleasing to hear and see you Bea, I imagine the goats and the cats are thrilled. You look well. Those hotel ruins are fascinating, wonder what the status of the water is. I can’t believe the former owners didn’t sell for salvage. Anxious to see what the architect comes up with for your stone house.
Best Wishes for Both of you and I pray 🤲 all your dreams come true 💗🙏
Love watching the goaties following their Mamma Bee.
I've missed Bea so much ❤ And that hair is gorgeous...adorable! Thank you for sharing your life! So brave and resilient!
I’m happy to see Bee’s beautiful smile.
I can imagine just how splendid that hotel must have been. Thanks for showing us around Theo. Bee, you're looking lovely, so glad things are going to be better for you now, health wise. Love the length of your hair right now too.☺ I think a huge opening with folding doors would be wonderful in the new/old property, imagine sitting there...what a picture that would make.
The architecture of the place is phenomenal. I love hearing and seeing history. That would be a bucket list for me ❤
It’s so nice to see you back Bea! Congrats on your successful surgery!
Theo, I love your vision for the cottage! What amazing places you discover when riding your bike too! That hotel, and the smaller cottage are amazing!!! Yeah, those floors, and that door…… stunning. Wouldn’t that be amazing if someone fixed those buildings up again!?! Oh, yep, you’re talking about that now (I’m typing this as the video goes on, cause just like your brain, Theo, mine goes all over the place 😆). Maybe I missed your comment on this, but what makes you say that the water there is radio active? It’s just the sweetest how you take the girls for those nice walks, Bee. Oh, and I love your hair!!!
Theo the very first building at that abandoned hotel ...that style of windows would be perfect for your renovation project . Large, wide and allowing lots of sunlight in. IMHO. Bee it looks like one of the goats was either limping a bit or has stiff joints in her old age in that portion of this video.
I've missed Bea so much ❤ And that hairvus gorgeous...adorable! Thank you for sharing your life! So brave and resilient!
large window would be wonderful, and much cheaper. So happy to see you Bee, youve been terribly missed,
I'm having a little nibble while you're talking about the goats nibbling 😊
Oh my word!! That ruin is absolutely stunning!! What a pity it has gone 'to ruin'. Lovely to see Bee again as well!!
Doing a little google and found that the last time this place was sold was 2000 to Antonio Lopes. It was going to be a luxury hotel but the project was abandoned. Hopefully there is more to this story and something is in the works to restore this place.
Unbelievable workmanship in the hotel ruin - all abandoned!
You look great, Bea! So happy to see you!
It’s all so beautiful.
Wow! Thank you for the walkabout in the ruins, Theo. Great news about the project on your property! I’m looking forward watching the development. Bee, you’re looking so good. I loved to see you on your walk with the goaties. See you soon, Bee and Theo❤️❤️
The abandoned hotel ruin is amazing. Thank you for showing it to us. Stay well. ❤
yes, different and fun video. lovely to see Bee looking amazing as always, and you Theo, always full of life and fun comments. Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!
