Roman brought me to tears yesterday when letting us know how he feels about life in America. He is a great example for all of us that sometimes take what we have for granted. Blessings on you and your young family Roman.

That big container that you have in the basement that black container you’ll have to cut it with a torch but you have to drain all the water out first you have to get some kind of pump to do that

Nice to meet you Cedric! I will be honest, I laughed so hard at the gazelle cut after Justin jumped in the back of the dump truck. I’m excited to see the whole house with insulation, and to see actual construction going on. I’m hoping you can find matching hardwood flooring enough for the entire house. I saw somewhere once where a house got the used hardwood floor from an old basket ball gym and they looked incredible when repurposed for the house.

Cole, for your heating problem, you need to talk to your cousin who lives in Iowa Falls. Her husband works for an HVAC company doing estimates and setup for residential and commercial systems. He would be able to tell you just what you need to do for your in floor heat.

Love your channel. I’m a 71 year old lady that loves construction work. You, Roman , Justin and now Sedrick. Not sure I spelled his name right. A big shout out to you guys. It’s very hard work. Cedric, great job with the editing! Obviously it's because of you that there have been more videos more often! Cole has a lot on his plate and it is wonderful that you, Roman and Justin are there helping him! I don't know about anyone else but I am loving this series! That house is beautiful. It's part of history and part of Cole's history and his Dad's and his Grandpa. It's just wonderful to see another generation is going to live and love that home!

The reason for the difference in the wood floors you see, between the center of the room and the outside edges is that the outsides were meant to be left exposed and got higher quality wood, vs the interior of the room was expected to be covered by rugs/carpet, usually Oriental, and therefore a lesser grade of wood could be used there. My dad and grandfather were both contractors and built many, many house just like this 100+ years ago. Enjoying your "deconstruction" phase and remembering all the jobs like this I've worked through the years. Best of luck!

But Cole was point out the subfloor, the finished oak flooring was ripped out already and that flooring was oak wall to wall.

I've watched you almost from the very beginning. You were just a recent college grad farming with your Dad and living in your Grandpa's old house. You've come a long way! I hope this channel helps you fund all the house remodel and projects. I'm happy to see you grow as a person, a husband, a father and a businessman. I'm also happy that you can now pay people to do the filming and editing etc. Here's to the family farmer!! Long may you farm and support your family!!!

Would highly recommend you wire in at least one network port in each ceiling to be able to install an access point, think Ubiquity, to make sure you will have good WiFi on each floor. Dont go with a "Mesh" system from any consumer brand, it will let you down! Said this afew times now, unsure if it reached the right person.

Hi Cole love the channel, I have worked as a master plumber and hot water heating contractor for 40 years, I’m currently retired. Please have someone do a heat loss\gain calculation you will need that to size the new boiler, also just using infloor heating isn’t the best thing to do when you get below zero and high winds the infloor won’t keep up. Plus you need to know how many zones and manifolds you need. And wood is not a good heat sink like concrete is.

Guys, you're making the work look SO easy and fast.. But when I think back to the Sears farmhouse I grew up in and the size of that house, I can somewhat envision how much territory you're having to cover. My folks would have liked to do what you're doing to our house, but our farm was on low ground and was prone to flooding. After having to move out of the house the third time, they decided to tear it down. It was a sad time. So glad you have the means to protect this family legacy!

I love when Roman takes the camera. He's funny. I had a hunch there was another addition for editing. I noticed the videos are a bit longer. Great job Cedric. Keep up the good work. Literally BUSTED out laughing at the gazelle! 😂 Cedric!!! Great job dude. Alot of people thought summer had started editing again, but there is definitely a difference in style. Plus y'all have really been pushing out the content! Im already going to be sad when planting starts, and the house has to go on hold for the farm stuff. I think adding Roman and Cedric will be the key to making progress for your farm. You have always had the need for an extra person like Roman. ( worker)... and then him doing double duty with the camera helps free you up tremendously... along with Cedric and the editing. I think you will really see the benefits soon enough. It frees you up to be able to 1. Still put out good content. 2. Frees you to do dad, husband, and farm office work duty. And 3. Frees your time from the BTS of editing. That is so time consuming. Your going to notice how it just feels like your able to complete so much more. Even tho Cedric may not be doing "farm" work.. he is invaluable because he enables you to still push out great content at the same time as freeing your time to do the other things that had to wait before. Having good content is just as important as having progress on the house and farm projects. These two go hand in hand.. keep both Roman and Cedric full time and your entire operation will go to the next level.
