One of the things that I really like about Stomp is that there is no dialog, so it is easy to for everyone to follow the performance regardless of what language they speak. Music and rhythm is universal!

100% i remember getting to see them live as a little kid in either the late 90s or very early 00's when they came through, and having to wait through the whole show to see this as the finale. You could see the lid wall hidden in the shadows, so you knew it was there, but you had to wait the whole show for it haha

This was the grand finale act on STOMP live on Broadway in San Francisco. Seeing this live was an unforgettable, EPIC experience. I wanted to get up there and bang things with them so bad. lol They even provided drumsticks for the audience so we could join in, hitting the back of the seats!

I remember watching this in grade school music class before the days KZread and TikTok.This might have played a pivotal role in getting me to play the drums when I was a teenager..this brings back great memories!

I remember watching this in my grade 9 dance class at school and then we had to create our own stop beat using brooms, chairs, basketballs, and so much more... It was so much fun :)

I remember back in my private school days (im graduated now) my school hired these people for our school music festival. It was great.

I remember this as a kid. Musicians without guitars, flutes, piccolos, pianos, etc. That is talent. The world is their instrument.

we have. been to see them several times. their routines never get old even though it is the same at each one. love it!!

Took me months to find out what I remember seeing in Elementary School, wowza this brought me back.

AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH, I remember these good old days of music class in elementary school. Now I'm a junior in high school and its feels so different from back then.

I remember this being better quality in Elementary.

You know they're really good drummers because it sounds great and in time. Every time I've ever been around a bunch of idiots beating on cans and pots it always sounded like idiots beating on cans and pots.

In elementary school our music teacher showed us this movie on the roll out tvs and this was the coolest thing ever to me omg the nostalgia I'm 24 now and this is still awesome

I would have been watching this in school if it wasn’t for Covid-19... Instead I am learning from home!

had this logged in the back of my head from 2010 third grade music class.. amazing how the brain can remember these things.

This group is greatly unique in instrument style and improv as well. Not only did I see this video in 1st grade, but on April 21, 2018, I had the awesome opportunity to see Stomp live in Boston. That was once in a lifetime. When I saw them live, they were just as good then as in this video . After 12+ years, they still got it! If they come do a show near you, you don’t want to miss it!

Almost 16 years old now... watched this back in 2014 AND 2019 (they made us watch it twice lol)

My mom took me to see them live in the 90s, I was pretty young but I still remember it to this day. It’s still rad

Wow !!! Ich bin begeistert und wundere mich dass ich nicht schon vorher von Stom gehört habe ..... als ich in der schule bei einer projekt-woche in einem musik-projekt war, haben die lehrer uns eine dvd von stomp gezeigt und ich war fasziniert .. Klasse !!!!!

I see it too! I think it's because the musicians are dressed in an Urban style in a slums kind of setting. It looks almost apocalyptic. Dreadlocks, bald heads, baggy pants, utility boots, suspenders, etc. They were going for a bit of a look of poverty...but cool poverty. xD
