At the beginning that was an Asmodean crystal that he wants to give to Blitz so he can travel to earth without having to use Stolas' book . Vizvie said on Twitter the titles for upcomming episodes and the next episode is called "Full Moon" which fans expect Stolas to end their arrangement and let Blitz decide for himself if he wants to be with Stolas or not

Stolas has already done the love bombing routine. The more he pushes the more Blitz puts up his walls. Stolas is going to give him the Asmodean crystal. Which will end Blitz’s dependence on the grimoire. Stolas is basically putting the next move in blitz’s hands. He is basically going with the “if you love them, let them go, if the love is true, they’ll come back“

And this is Stolas coming to terms that it *may not work that way* That he *might not* come back. It's even reasonable to say that Blitzo probably WON'T come back. In his own words, "I must give you this choice." He has chosen Blitzo of his own free will, now he needs to either let Blitzo choose the same, or to have his heart broken.

So fun fact: This song is originally a fan song created by Paranoid DJ that they officially made canon. I’m so happy this became a canon song because it is gorgeous. They did change up a couple of the lyrics to fit the vibes more but still beautiful nonetheless. Everytime I hear this song I can feel my eyes start to water out of heartbreak. Stolas deserves so much more happiness and I just desperately wish he and Blitz just talk about how they feel for once! Although knowing Blitz I don’t think it’s going to end well. Anyways Bryce continues to amaze us all with his singing voice. You can definitely tell he put his heart and soul into this song. And the animation was stunning as well. The effect of the water (at least I think it’s water) when he chased after the moon “Blitz” was chef’s kiss and when they turned into constellations was simple but beautiful.

They both want eachother so bad but their lack of communication makes it hard for them to really express how they feel resulting in so many unfortunate misunderstandings, it's so sad but this song is so beautiful while expressing how Stolas feels 💫💛✨️

Stolas isn't pushing away. He's come to understand he can't force Blitz to choose him, he has to let Blitz make the choice.

The thing is, he's giving Blitz0 a choice in the matter. Something neither really have a lot of. He's giving Blitz0 the Asmodean Crystal so he can not need the book any longer, thus severing their contract for good.

So the crystal at the start is the Asmodeus crystal that he has been looking into since S2E1 (and got from Asmodeus in S2E6) after he realized that Blitz may not love him and that their contract was not good, it forced Blitz to be with him just as his arranged marriage forced him to be with Stella. The crystal allows travel to Earth and a human disguise which is basically the Grimwar but without the necessity to return it to Stolas. So it's a choice for Blitz, he can take it and leave if he doesn't actually love Stolas but if he chooses to stay then it's his choice and not forced circumstance, it's the only way he can get to Blitz's heart but it is just as risky as he could lose him for good. These two love each other but unfortunately they are complete morons with their social skills and don't talk to each other very well which has led to a lot of problems. Ultimately Blitz is so self sabotaging he may view this as a rejection and leave Stolas, he already shattered Verosica's heart so is Stolas next in the chaos? Next episode is officially titled "Full moon" and as this video shows the full moon is what Stolas associates Blitz with as that's their meeting night, up next happiness or tragedy? Also this was a fan song made years ago and now is official just like addict had been, it's by Paranoid DJ and the lyrics have been altered to make them more canon.

I'll just put my personal theory for the next parts of the Story here: Stolas gives Blitzø the Crystal as a mean to end their contract and a way to say "Stay if you want, i won't force you" Blitzø will just be Blitzø and think of it as a "I don't want you here" and leave Stolas in a bad mood, breaking both their hearts Given that we've seen Blitz be honest about both his failures in the past with Fizz and kinda dropping the tough guy facade towards his childhood friend, i'd bet Blitzø's gonna go trauma dump on him about how he loves Stolas and Stolas made him leave (at least in his mind). And since Stolas already told Asmodeus that he has feelings, i'd bet the season ends with an Episode, where (as kind of a mirror of the ending of season 1, where Asmodeus and Fizz were involved with kinda breaking the two apart) our two favorite Lust ring inhabitants finally get the idiots to talk about their feelings and we end on a positive note

I super agree, but god no I hope they don't have the episode end without Blitz at least admitting and recognizing he needs to reach out! I agree Blitzø will probably take the Crystal as Stolas breaking up with him, getting over the "novelty" of fking him, and Blitzø will take off hurt. But he will somehow end up telling Fizz and then Fizz (and likely Ozzie since, like you said, he was told by Stolas and 100% knows Stolas loves Blitzø) will shake some sense into him. I just really hope we don't ONLY see the breakdown in this episode. Since we know we are getting a duet I really hope its a fight song where they actually confront each other and get their truths out in the open! They desperately need it to progress.... One thing though, if they saved it for the "last episode" of the season that would mean they wouldn't get together for another 4 episodes. There are 12 in season 2 afaik. I'm hoping this episode coming out will be the one to Mirror "Ozzie's" from season 1 and we wont be left on a heartbreak cliffhanger.... I'm hoping the season 2 finale is more hinting or showing us the start of the fallout for Ozzie (and Stolas maybe?) for admitting their love for someone so far below their station.

When it dropped 10 am, my entire day was listening and crying. What a tear jerker, 1000/10 🎉

Thing is that as it is now relation between Stolas and Blitzo is contaminated. Blitz don't have no other way to continue his work, without help of Stolas. By giving him alternative, he cut this pouted link. But the problem is that Stolas don't know if this relation continue after that. Because due to personal trauma Blitz push away those who he love. It is a gamble, but one what must be done.

Personally I see the line breaking as not Stolas giving up but instead linked with the lyric “I must give you this choice”. I feel like it’s more symbolic as Stolas being willing to set Blitz free even though it would destroy him. I honestly don’t believe Stolas would just give up

I've seen this video, crying all the way through... The original was a fan made song back in 2021 (thanks to ParanoidDJ) - before all of the latest happened in the show. The slightly alternated lyrics and Bryce Pinkham's voice... just perfectIt should be around the time the season one finale was published (we all know what happened there) and the beginning with the asmodean crystal was a critical hit already...

If you want more reasoning to the song, the Asmodean crystal he plans to give to Blitz will make it so Blitz can do his job without needing to interact with Stolas ever again. The only reason they are even around each other is because Blitz needs the grimoire to do his job, but Stolas needs it to perform his duties. Blitz has set it in his mind that Stolas is only extorting him for sex, and Stolas doesn't make it any better when he kinda makes it seem like a kink to date the lower class than actual romance. As a result, Stolas is giving the crystal as a last ditch effort, to show Blitz it isn't about some kink or sex. Blitz would realize this because giving him a way to never interact with Stolas again wouldn't make sense if Stolas was just doing this for sex.

the most painful part of this is that at the end when the tears roll out of his eyes, that light we associate with his pupils disappears and leaves his eyes as a hopeless sheen of red without that spark of soul and life we know him for. Hauntingly gut wrenching.
