Stock Renegade Climbs a Sketchy Mountain | Santa Fe Peak Trail Guide
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
A stock renegade on street tires, a stock Jeep Wrangler JL Rubicon, and a built 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner (Jason from the Oxfoot KZread) climb a Colorado Mountain with sketchy shelf roads and a majority of the trail above 12,000 feet. We will reach an altitude over 13000 feet. Will the little Jeep renegade's motor be able to take it up the steep inclines? Will the Street tires hold up to Colorado's Rocky Trails?
Colorado Mallcrawlers is an off-road/overland channel featuring a railroader and his friends. We love wheeling and making videos! Unfortunately, we are limited on video production due to the insane schedule of the railroader, but our goal is to always publish the best we can. I hear people when they ask us to publish more so I'm definitely trying. Anyway, we'd love to have you as a subscriber as I want to show off all these beautiful trails to more people.

Not trying to sound mean, but I'm really surprised your transmission wasn't overheating, especially with the altitude, there were a couple times that motor/tranny did not sound happy (and thats just the bits that were caught in the video). I'd advise adding some tow points, i'd be hard pressed to be convinced to let any vehicle without legit recovery points front and rear on any of my rides...thats just asking for trouble if something does turn south.
@anatolearnold1633
Жыл бұрын
@@FearlessTrailhawk I hear you on that. These things are pretty resilient surprisingly and through that whole trip my trans didn't overheat or get really hot at all. As for the noise, I believe these Jeeps spring manifold leaks which makes the puttering as heard though I have yet to get it inspected to see if it's really that. Big thing is gearing. This is not a trailhawk so it doesn't have the extra low gear it should so it struggles more. I am browsing sites for extra tow points and since the Sport is just a less modified Trailhawk I am researching swap-able parts between models.

@@backwoodstherapy I've got a few Trailhawks in my neighborhood all with lifts, bumpers and the works.
