Stitch both directions on an Edge to Edge with Handi Quilter Pro-Stitcher! Save time & multiple rows

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

In this video Angie is going to show you how to stitch in both directions on the Handi Quilter Pro-Stitcher! Huge shoutout to ‪@adamsewfun.‬ for teaching us this method!
Angie set this design up to stitch from left to right like normal for row 1 then down to row 2 and back right to left then down again for row 3 and left to right again! She is quilting 17” all at once without having to bring up the bobbin thread and resume for each row.
*Disclaimer this will work best with curved patterns that do not have a lot of straight lines. Some machines do not like to stitch from right to left and you could see your thread shred or break.

This was really informative for using Pro-Stitcher to set up your rows, changing sizes to fit the piecing. Very clear directions for having the machine from left to right and back again. Thank you Angie for great information.

Great tutorial. I finally got PS but it’s PSL for a Moxie. I’m bummed that I don’t have a Swap Start/Stop button. But, I’m still very happy about having it. The first thing I do was come back to this video so I could remember how to do it. So happy to learn from you! ❤

Fantastic tip! I was wondering if you can do a video on how to add purchased designers to your machine. Thanks again so informative.😊

I just saw a Video from MK Quilts about sewing left to right and the thread breaking. She switched all of her needles to ball point needles-no more thread shredding/breaking when sewing right to left.

Oh my goodness Angie. I’ve been using my machine for 2 1/2 years limping along without your brilliant suggestions. Adams, the one that got me to buy my machine and I love him too but this video just hit the spot. Thank you so much I learned so much and I can’t wait to start using this method. I bought a pattern that had just one little 3 in square. kindkind of looked like a pocket. It’s sewed out beautifully but I was frustrated in having 25 3 inch rows!! I knew there had to be another way, and here it is. Also, I have a new laptop and I hope to start using it to set up my patterns and work spaces there like you did instead of doing it at the machine. It seems very helpful and easy, especially being able to use a mouse. Thanks again. Juli Chambers. Arlington TX 😁😉

Angie, You moved the crop on the left but how did you crop the right side with the same method? (I normally use Area 2 point for this process) and does the cropping on the right automatically move the start and stop points. Thanks as always for an informative video!

Hi Marilyn, I used 2 corner Area to crop both left and right at the same time. Sorry if that was confusing. Thanks for watching!! :)

Great tutorial,! As a former teacher, I feel inclined to point out that ACROST is not a word. It is across.

haha! My mom and I were just talking about "Acrost" or "acrossed"...for those of us from Western PA, it's a valid word!
