2017 Goodwood, I met Sir Sterling Moss and saw that car! All the cars are amazing but that blue Ferrari was sexy as hell.
The blue Ferrari is absolutely fantastic!
I watched Moss win his 7th TT at Goodwood in 1961 driving 7SPA... what a beautiful car.
722 - 1,000 miles around Italian streets averaged 100mph. Dennis Jenkins co pilot story of how Stirling put it into a slide at over 160mph because it lost brakes. Incredible driver, drive and car. Stirling Moss, driving God!
i liked the bit where the mercedes guys from Stuttgart spoke in their broad swabian accent......they know what they're doing...... these cars are usually exhibited at the mecedes benz museum in Stuttgart Untertürkheim....well worth a visit.
Thanks for giving me the biggest laugh I've had this year! Calling Richard Hammond a 'motoring legend'! Absolutely priceless!🤣🤣🤣
When I grow up,I want to be that man who gets pushed around in fabulous cars👍

Mercedes recently sold one of their 300 SLR’s from its private collection for $142 million,The estimated value of the one Sterling Moss raced is nearer to $400million so there was a lot of money parked right there on the streets of London….

I was at the memorial service, it was a fabulous service and it was wonderful to see 722 there amongst the collection, quite a treat. Sir Jackie's speech was as humorous as it was poignant.

Thanks This The Great Car Channel ! Hello From Finland !
Beautiful cars. Was happy that I saw them in the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart.
Unfortunately was unable to get inside the barriers as I missed the setting up outside the Abbey. However, the cars looked beautiful and to be bathed in the first real sunny day in weeks was the icing on the cake. Well worth heading down for a look see on the day.
Absolutely stunning!
nice to see bean looking well..x
I remember Sir Stirling at Le Mans Classic in a D type some years back ( a more patriotic drive) still fast still didn't want to stop brilliant skills even in old age.
We treat these cars like Ming Vases. Sir Stirling mercilessly wrung the life out of them God bless him. He could drive anything.
The “old boy”would have loved this.A fitting tribute to one of the titans

Get 'em up the Goodwood hill! Straw bales and flint walls are good for ya! 😁
Just imagine seeing the cars being parked along the street whilst on your way to work.. I'd probably break my neck with how quickly I'd turn around
Nice Bristol parked at 004
You are a lucky man, to be that close to those beauties...well, you are consistently lucky, amazing cars are your environment.
everybody missed the gorgeous grey/green Bristol parked in the street ?
Oh my gosh ... I wish I'd known ..
I’ve sat in that car. Amazing
Beside all these fancy people. The real stars were the cars. 😊😊😊
You know there's going to be some shenanigans going on when Mr Beans shows up
And, as a bonus, a very nice Bristol 411 parked in Pall Mall at the beginning.
"Who do you think you are.....Sterling Moss!" Free up with that saying in the 70s 😎

Fyi. Here in my great country England we do not call them 'race' cars as that is American. What they are correctly called are 'Racing' cars. Please get it right here in your commentary. Accuracy is key in history.
the mercedes supposedly was and is still going for the aston martin taking their shapes and the silver colour, and now with the new mercedes model AMG GT 2024 with the same shape of the aston martin DB12.....
@muratti72muc

lol, the Mercedes W 194 shapes comes partly from Ferdinand Porsche office and the silver was never a Aston Martin color. Before Porsche founded his own car company in 1948, he had a construction design company that developed cars for Daimler/Mercedes, Audi/Wanderer, Volkswagen, Zündapp, etc. Before WW2 each country have a color for there cars. French blue, British green, German white, Italian red, etc. Silver becomes Mercedes color because of a race series from 1934. Was the "750kg series" and the Mercedes W25 (Porsche development) weight 751kg with the white painting. Then they sanded off the white paint and it only weighed 750kg. The Silberpfeil was born and also the color from Mercedes.

The cars are engineering supremacy and such things of beauty. Even if a non car enthusiast or lover of automobiles, anyone would admire the sheer elegance of this shiny machines. As for most of the “celebrities” nah not one bit interested. People are people and serve no interest to me.
