The same sweet and awesome sound... November 14, 2018, Kyiv... the day when the first snow fell, and tropical tunes turned out to be so warming.

I am a lifelong hard-core Beatles fan… But it was Sting & The Police, with Walking on the Moon, that got me learning how to play bass… sidebar, how great is that drummer??! Never caught a glimpse of him in this video, but damn!!

Josh Freese was Sting's drummer in 2021 (he has been for a few years now, at least since his 2017 album "57th & 9th" I think). For the 2022 My Songs tour, he was unavailable and currently replaced by Zach Jones (much less talented imo...).

To do even a passing resemblance to Stuart means he's very very good. But not Freese good, of course.

These are both beautiful songs. My preference is for the first one I heard, as I particularly liked the riff with tenths, and that the song is stylistically consistent with what the 'long in the tooth' fans such as I would expect from zis gentleman. Signed, bilbugferatu. 🕸️🐛❤️👌

Sting is now doing Walking The Moon 2 full keys lower now. He's probably finding it too difficult doing it in this key.

Sting WAS the Police! He wrote 99% of their tunes. The Police were a great trio and all three members made contributions to making the band what it was, but obviously, only one of the three had a commercially successful career post Police.

What a load of embarrassing Schtick! So freaking corny and contrived. I don't know if I can listen to these songs again and conjure up the feelings that I once had for them . . . for decades.
