que hermoso recuerdo, espectacular. creo que no hay nadie que haga un show así ahora. su saco verde calipso, su teclado en diagonal, su salto a todo ritmo, una corista con una voz electrizante como dolette mcdonald y la calidad de los musicos hizo que sobresaliera todo de una forma perfecta. ocurrió en buenos aires, un sabado 15 de octubre de 1988 en el estadio river plate. estuve ahí presente y recuerdo cuando Bruce Springsteen dijo al final del show: que esto lo guarden en su corazón.

síiiiii, hermoso el monumental como explotaba, al año anterior, creo que fue que vino por primera vez solista y primera vez televisado en directo, el día que dejé de escuchar a Fito Páez, porque se calentó de que la gente no le dio bola y habló boludeces en directo con Badía que se sorprendió, porque a Fito le gustaba Sting, pero bueno, mucha merca encima quizás ese día, 2 años seguidos con Sting, un lujo pocas veces visto

In all my years, I've only discovered this video, just now. I was a stateside crew member on 'Soul Cages', for many shows. I thought I'd seen all things 'Sting'...but not this. All this tells me is, this show was one of the very first after the dissolution of the Police. A heady mix of confidence, insecurity, and 'go for it'. 'Know your demographic.'

que hermoso recuerdo, espectacular. creo que no hay nadie que haga un show así ahora. su saco verde calipso, su teclado en diagonal, su salto a todo ritmo, una corista con una voz electrizante como dolette mcdonald y la calidad de los musicos hizo que sobresaliera todo de una forma perfecta. ocurrió en buenos aires, un sabado 15 de octubre de 1988 en el estadio river plate. estuve ahí presente y recuerdo cuando Bruce Springsteen dijo al final del show: que esto lo guarden en su corazón.

síiiiii, hermoso el monumental como explotaba, al año anterior, creo que fue que vino por primera vez solista y primera vez televisado en directo, el día que dejé de escuchar a Fito Páez, porque se calentó de que la gente no le dio bola y habló boludeces en directo con Badía que se sorprendió, porque a Fito le gustaba Sting, pero bueno, mucha merca encima quizás ese día, 2 años seguidos con Sting, un lujo pocas veces visto

In all my years, I've only discovered this video, just now. I was a stateside crew member on 'Soul Cages', for many shows. I thought I'd seen all things 'Sting'...but not this. All this tells me is, this show was one of the very first after the dissolution of the Police. A heady mix of confidence, insecurity, and 'go for it'. 'Know your demographic.'

Thamrin Joenoes yeah the band from the Nothing like the sun tour. Kenny and Branford still there from Blue Turtles and Dolette. Mino Cinelu who played with Miles on percusion. Rest meh.
