I filed as a NON filer with the IRS web portal on 4/11 and have checked on the "get my payment" took since it opened on 4/15 and all I have ever seen is "Payment Status Not Available" 💔 I am completely eligible, I have tried all the tricks using all caps and everything. I don't know why this is happening to me...it's been a long time...and I had helped 4 people do the web portal thing after me and they all RECIEVED theirs....I'm so confused and I'm losing everything including my mind.

Charissa West Please don’t do that! One commentor advised leaving the street category off the address (in other words leave off AVE or ST or DR). He said it worked for him. I will do some looking around to see if there is anything about using “get my payment” after you have use the non-filers portal. If I find something, I will come back and respond.

Have a good question, been on SSDI since 2017 and do not file taxes because I was told not 2. How do I track my payment when the get my payment tool does not work for me?

Hey Steve. Thanks for the great vids. They are very informative and have been a great source of encouragement thru these tough times. The problem that I have been having related to "Get my payment" is that I am self employed. I have done my taxes every year and have gotten a small refund in years past but that "refund" has been applied to the next years taxes and I have therefore never given the IRS my direct deposit info. The other problem is that my address changed. UGH!!!! 2 strikes against me I guess. I'm not banking on any stimulus money any time soon. If you have any advise, I'd LOVE to hear it. Thanks Scott! I have read that if you pay that ahead that you put 0 in the space for how much you paid or got a refund. And with regard to address, I would probably try the address on your 2018 return first to see if you can get through. My guess, given that they don't have any direct deposit info for you is that you'll likely get a paper check mailed to the last address they had for you. One commenter told me that he called and worked with the post office to make sure it was forwarded to the right place.

@@BrassHorseStudio Steve. IT SEEMS TO HAVE WORKED!!! WOO HOO!!!! lol. I did as you suggested by putting a 0 in the refund amount space and filled in the other info as normal. The system took it. They said that I was due a stimulus payment and that I would be notified when there are other updates on this issue. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for the tip. My family and I appreciate your thoughts and advise more than you could know. I will touch base with the post office just in case, but hopefully, the IRS won't mess it up..... ;)

Scott Curtis oh, one more thing. You may not see an update on their page until next Saturday, May 16. I think the way they are working is that anyone who gets into the system before Tuesday night gets updated the following Saturday. Because it’s Wednesday, it may take until next Saturday to tell you when you are getting your check and how. Unless you get it before then.

It keeps saying my social security number is wrong.But it is the right number.

I am on SSDI and have Direct Deposit and have a payee. I do not owe Child Support, I have been on SSDI since 2018 and was told I had 2 do nothing 2 get my payment. Payments were processed on April 29th and it's 2 weeks later and I still have not gotten my payment. My question is why and what can I do?

I've tried all different forms of entering the address, I've checked every day since then and everything is entered correct. I didnt earn enough to not be eligible. I dont get it

Do you receive any other kinds of benefits (SSA, SSI, SSDI, VA, or others)? If so, they may still be transferring that information into their system. If not that, is there any way anyone claimed you as a dependent?

Alexander Hurst I also just read another comment Someone else left that said they left the street form off the end of their street address (for example 123 Elm Ave. he just typed in as 123 Elm). He said it worked.

Brass Horse Studio are you really serious about this? IRS, one of the biggest government agencies, and they come up with this system - where you either have to put ur address in all caps or take out Ave or St or Rd, in order to work? beyond rediculous. my two middle fingers to the IRS

Daniel Le I am serious about it. I didn’t create the problem. Many government agencies have been operating on old systems using COBOL because they don’t want to spend the money or the time to upgrade them (read a lot of the news about many state’s unemployment systems). They’re quirky.

The IRS system will not even accept my social security number.

When i go in GET MY PAYMENT PORTAL this is the message i have You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page. why i have this message since march 16th

Get deposits July 7 2020

I have a client who is getting this message: We are unable to provide the status of your payment right now because: We don't have enough information yet (we're working on this), or You're not eligible for a payment. Any thoughts?

Joyce Cameron That’s a new one I haven’t heard about. Is it possible that they are on Social Security or veterans benefits? In that case, it might still be possible that the IRS has not yet transferred all of their data from those databases into their own.

Im getting the exact same message.Which means I cannot enter my banking info.They have my info because I have to pay in.One would think that if they can pull payment...they could submit payment. 👍💡👍

Hi there, I was not eligible if IRS based on 2018 return but I am eligible with my 2019 return (citizen status change). I did not file my 2019 until mid-April. If they processed my 2018 return and deemed I was not eligible before I filed my 2019 return, would they circle back and process my 2019 return after I filed my 2019 return?

Same situation for my husband and myself. 2018 he would not be eligible but 2019 he has a SSN.

Charlie C.程查 This is a fascinating situation. I wonder if it is possible, once they do process your 2019 return, if they will determine that you are eligible and perhaps mail it to you?

My wife and I only received $64 and we made less than $100,000 in 2018. Sounds like they calculated us as a single person making almost $100,000. Has anyone else had a problem like that?

Charles Beardslee This is really frustrating. On a positive note, you have evidence that they are sending them out. Since you have both Social Security and VA benefits, I wonder if they are categorizing you as VA, and so sending it out at a different time? I have heard them say mid - May, so maybe it will be soon? Hopefully so.

Still haven't received my first Stimulus check, I qualify, I don't work, I don't receive unemployment, No SSI, No Food Stamps, no Government Help or Benefits ever, Ive put in all my life,till I was injured from a job, still no help, since I worked for a church, I don't get anything, No Unemployment, no benefits, NO HELP FROM GOVERNMENT. MY GIRLFRIEND PAYS FOR EVERY THING, UTILITIES, CAR,HOUSE INSURANCE, FOOD ETC. AND SHE ONLY MAKES $770.A MONTH
