Stifle Surgery using the Radial Cut TPLO (Veterinary Instrumentation

In the latest episode of our Under The Skin series, created with Orthopaedic Specialist, Gareth Arthurs, we continue our focus on surgery techniques to correct stifle instability resulting from cranial cruciate ligament rupture.
The radial cut TPLO (Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy) is a complex technique that alters the functional geometry of the joint by reducing the angle of the tibial plateau, thus achieving functional stability in an unstable stifle. In this video, we demonstrate radial cut TPLO using the VILTPLO locking TPLO plate, the most clinically current, and most popular, TPLO plate in the Vi range.
TPLO is a popular technique, and the basics of the procedure are demonstrated in this video. Please click here to download a copy of our detailed TPLO surgery guide: landing.veterinary-instrument...
