This video was created with leading veterinary Orthopaedic Specialist, Gareth Arthurs. In this episode, we continue our series of plating demonstrations using the Dynamic Locking Plate (DLP). A DLP may be utilised in several different ways, with the ability to combine the strength and stability of the locking construct with axial compression using non-locking cortical screws, where clinically appropriate.
In this video, we demonstrate plating of a transverse fracture using a Dynamic Locking Plate as a neutralisation plate in conjunction with lag screws.
