    Just think I'm watching from a little screen on my phone and I can feel the energy coming off this bunch. Must be intimidating just being in the company of this lot. Imagine having to participate. Back in the day I remember watching this series and I remember Bruce Parry was actually going to participate! Fortunately for him after practising with the kids. The tribe realised for Bruce Parry safety, it's probably best for Bruce not to participate. Might not have the long thing but Bruce Parry certainly got the balls. Absolutely loved series.

    People on YT are quick to disregard a culture they don't live in or understand its origins and meaning as uncivilized, poor, lack of this/that. This is the same mentality that supported colonization. Thankfully 🇪🇹 Ethiopian people like this sacraficed their lives so that they get to keep their culture and tradition intact. What ever WEALTH means to the Western world; they don't consider as wealth.

    How do you know they aren't? They might well have technology in their houses. Unless, as the general distribution of wealth across the world kind of suggests, they are too poor to afford it. Or, of course, they might simply prefer their traditional culture.

  • @peaceblossom8

    @peaceblossom8

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@BinaryReader I meant that maybe they simply can't afford to buy expensive technology because in general, people in most African countries are poorer than in most Western countries. I'd also suggest that one part of the reason for where certain things developed is simply the climate (the Middle East has very regions, so people simply had more spare time to come up with culture, art, scriptures etc.), and another part is quite probably that African tribes and cultures have been colonialized and suppressed for centuries.

  • @BinaryReader

    @@peaceblossom8 Id assume this culture has been left to its own devices. They aren't integrated into the modern world at all. They also don't appear to have invented anything past the Feudal Age. I don't think its a case of them not being able to afford modern technology, rather I doubt they would know what to do with it.

  • @peaceblossom8

    @@peaceblossom8 I am asking why technological innovation didn't happen there is all. I'd like to see the extent of technology they have managed on their own. I expect that war, conflict and famine may have required humans to innovate. But i wonder what research has been done on this. I'm very curious the origins of technical sophistication. It seems like a kind of strain of virus or mental thinking that took root in some civilizations that spread throughout, but managed to skip on these isolated civs. Its interesting, probably more than human history in general.

You look at the Indigenous people of Asia, you can clearly see that. Those same skills that evolved from fighting before Asians became what we see now, came from the Indigenous people of that land. I've done research throughout the last couple years and connected the dots. To call them Black is completely false.
