François Cevert is gentleman. Jack Stewart is lord. Big friends.

On the this day (that I write) it is the 46th anniversary of Francois Ceverts first and only GP win. It's also the day that I discovered and learnt about him, and the high regard he had for Jackie Stewart (who I now see in a more positive light than before) What a beautiful man and driver, tragically taken away far too soon.

Great stuff. Real racing talk...about what depth of gear to have on parts of the track...these are ther real decisions of racing you never see. My heart aches for both Cevert and Stewart for the tragedy to come...

RIP Francois, you would have been champion.

Vero, Francois aveva in Jackie un vero e onesto amico, Jackie a lui dava i consigli di come fare certi punti di pista. Anche in ultima gara di Francois, Jackie gli aveva dato un consiglio di come affrontare quella curva dove ha avuto inncidente. Jackie era talmente sconvolto della morte di Francois che non voleva correre la gara e si ritiro' definitivamente dalle gare. La gara la vinse Ronnie Peterson, stessa eta' di Francois, 29 anni. Altri tempi, tanto onore a sir Jackie che era un vero amico di Francois. RIP Francois...💔🌹

Francois Cevert was beside Ronnie,Jochen and Stefan the most smartest and talented Driver in the hole Formel 1 Area.

They had a great sportsman relationship for sure, it's so sad that Francois didn't had the chance of fight a championship, he would have been a serious contender for Emerson and Lauda the following years

Jackie Stewart carries the terrible burden of living through an era that claimed so many of his closest friends and competitors. He was endlessly ridiculed for being a very early advocate for safety in motor racing. Sir Jackie is a giant of motor racing and will go down in history as one of the two ultimate scottish gentleman of the sport.

People know him for what he did for formula 1, but he was also one of the best and smoothest F1 drivers of all time. From 1968-1973, I felt that he was probably the best driver in these years.

The two good teammate : Jackie and Francoise.

Stewert is God, he can race with a sezied engine!!!
