This happened prior to a 1995 WCW Saturday Night taping...the match was scheduled to be Harlem Heat (Stevie Ray & Booker T) vs Randy Savage & Sting. Now, Ric Flair was the booker at this time. I met Randy at Powerhouse Gym in Garden City Michigan a few times in 92’ & 93’. He actually remembered me when he saw me from the first time I said “Hey, don’t I know you”? He replied in his voice “not me, brother”. I said “ok, let me know if ya need a spot”. Spotted him on incline. Talked to him for a bit. He told me they were doing a show at the palace. Hell of a nice guy. From that point on, he talked to me every time we saw each other. Me. Just a big dumb kid at the time...I’ll never forget him.

I worked for Ric Flair at Gold's Gym back in the mid 90s. Savage and Paul Orndorff came in one day and helped train one of my personal friends that day. He was a former University of Iowa LB and knew a lot of NFL players but he marked out for the free training from those two. They were both super nice.

But everyone claims it Macho Man was paranoid a-hole in real life. Ric Flair stated it, Roddy Piper, and King Kong Bundy. Liz had to divorce with him in 1992. And it went downhill from that. Also Randy Savage wanted a threesome with Gorgeous George underaged sister. I never knew why Macho Man got hyped after his death, guy was a real douche weirdo in real life. this is one of the GOATs speaking right here. this kind of insight you will never get unless you talk to someone like him. they were very looked up by me, being a black kid from the hood. i remember when they won the titles in WCW. i cheered like crazy. this is why i hold Booker T in high regard. Especially during the King Booker days. Him and Stevie Ray were on my TV, making history. it was dope. I loved Ric Flair, Savage and Goldberg. Watched every Goldberg match that created his streak. That's how much i watched Monday Nitro back in the days. guys like these will never be duplicated. That era can't be redone. It was a special time back then. The 90's were special. Everybody try to recreate it but they can't. Guys like Stevie Ray are what they are: legends of their craft.

Try to imagine a stable with Randy Savage taking over nWo black and white by beating Hogan, Harlem Heat as his enforcers with the Tag Titles and Curt Hennig with the US title. It's said that A lot of money and fame can bring the worse out of a lot of us. Well that certainly happened with people like HBK and Ric Flair. At the height of their best years they were assholes and they'd tell you that themselves. It's sad but it is what it is.

I worked with Macho man.. atleast that's what I'm gonna tell everybody. I got bussed into paramount studios as an Extra to be in the crowd at Sam Raimis Spiderman movie. It ended up being the fight arena with Macho man( bonesaw) vs Spiderman before he was spiderman. Numerous times the director had to calm Macho madness down, because he was over staging Toby Mcgwire. It was a pretty neat experience. Sometimes I play the seven degrees of Kevin Bacon using myself. 🤪

I remember Warrior kicked out of Macho's Elbow like 5x in a row. Vince and Macho had the same relationship Al Davis had with Marcus Allen. Both owners put a top star on the shelf too early and nobody really got anything out of it.

The true racist was Rick Flair. When Hogan came in to evaluate talent like Stevie Ray said Hogan said they need the push because they were the best tag team. Does that sound like something a racist would say? Flair was trying to fuck up both Harlem heat & Randy Savage career.
