Look up the word "glory" in the New Testament though. On that great day we shall be made partakes thereof, and the worship which shall thus erupt...

One of the greatest pastors of our generation for sure. God is so good.

One of my favorite contemporary pastors/Bible teachers.

Pastor Lawson i met him in person in Florida conference in june 2019. He is one of the Greatest teacher i have ever heard. He knows the Lord he walks with. The Lord. He teaches as the Spirit speaks to him for us to grow.

Wow this is so clear, so biblical I embraced this doctrine with all of my heart. There's no other way around it

You're sharing a message that if God didn't choose you to go to heaven from the beginning of time he chose you to go to hell. Then what does John 3:16 mean?????

Man took the sermon on Glory of God and ended up lecturing on Sovereignty of God😄, though Good Job Sir Lawson.

The chief end of man is the glory of God. The crux of life is the glory of God; everything else is peripheral. All things are created from him, through him & for him, & from there comes his glory. All Theology produces Doxology. The greater your Theology, the greater your Doxology. Here you have intrinsic & ascribed glory. Intrinsic glory is the sum of all of God's attributes. Ascribed glory results from beholding God's Intrinsic glory. God never shares his glory with anyone. God must be glorified forever & ever. God's glory results from his attributes, such as his sovereignty, omniscient, omnipotence, etc.

Soli Deo Gloriaaaa...Amen..

Hello! I want to get this right. So politely chime in if there is disagreement here. Im still fairly new Christian. It is important to remember that we are not predestined to be separated from God. God wants all men to be saved 1 Timothy 2:4-6 We have free will and it is important to remember that in Romans 8: 28 we get all this when we FIRST put our faith in Christ. This can be found Ephesians 1:11 It is like we are sealed.

@@DavidReyes-qn1bq Hey!!! "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast." I LOVE that verse because I always thought if I simply do good Ill go to heaven when actuality nothing I can do will earn me a place, as in good or bad works- only by the blood of Christ am I saved. I think that the giving of faith is of that grace which was sent in Christ. Like its a gift. He is a gift! So I think its Christ who gives the gift of faith! He is the mediator. I forgot the verse where it talks about his yoke being light... We should share it to all because that is why its called "the good news"! If you put your faith in Christ (the gift of God) then we have salvation. Anyone and everyone. Im a little confused because if NOT the condition of Faith first then why must we preach the gospel to every creature? If those who are to be saved are already saved then we have no free will to love. Im not understanding that. Anyways if you have any rebuttal or things you think should be corrected in my view feel free to drop them below, ive been thinking a lot about this lately! :) Im not trying to be argumentive or disrespectful here im just pondering if you feel me lol! :)

@@matthewspringer1369 Firstly, there is no verse in the Bible that says Man's fallen condition possesses free will. Instead, there are multiple instances that clearly state we were slaves(gr.dulos) of sin (Romans 6 :17, 18,20), and are in a condition of blindness to understand the gospel (2 Cor 4:4). Hence we need regeneration through the Holy Spirit. That enables us to receive faith (2 Pet 1:5, Jude 1) which then we exercise. We are not the author of faith, but God alone (Heb 12:2)

If you think you will be saved by works alone not going to happen by faith to God is your only answer just because you live a good life you will have no place no heaven by faith and unity with God like the trinity you must be one with God in faith

Read Romans 8 & 9. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you understanding of the scriptures. Salvation is a gift, by God’s grace, and He says He will have compassion upon whom He will, and He will have mercy upon whom He will. He also says that all who seek Him with their whole heart will find Him. An all knowing God who has declared the end from the beginning would know whose hearts belong to Him, and who would never receive Him, don’t you agree? This is why some people hear the gospel of Christ, and believe, and why Jesus Christ could come down from Heaven and show the nail prints in His hands and feet, and a great many people would still refuse to believe.

The majority of the world today would crucify God again, because Jesus Christ is God incarnate, if they could. They are no different than the Pharisees who watched Jesus heal the lame, make the blind to see, and they understood Jesus was saying He is God when He said He is one with His Father, and when He said He is I AM in John 8: 58, because they tried to stone Jesus for saying He is God, and instead of believing, they conspired to kiII Jesus, and people today are no different than they were 2,000 years ago. If anything, they’re worse. Jesus says He chose us, we didn’t choose Him.

Just repeating the phrase, "the glory of God" does not make your teaching any less wrong and any more exciting regarding the Christian life. I am 3 minutes in and I want to get up and leave the building. There is nothing in what you are saying, no meat, no substance. You haven't revealed what "glory" means in its roots. You haven't given us real reason to care. In summary, you are unconvincing.
