In a world class team he wouldn't of been the Roy of the rovers type, would just of been another player. At Manchester United he would of been told what to do by Keane and wouldn't of been a head of Scholes. I swear Gerrard is an expert at low key talking down Liverpool and making everything about him. Not a fan of Roy of the rovers players. He was an excellent player, but I think there’s a reason why he never consistently won the top trophies. His raw talent made him seem an essential pick, but I’m not sure if he had the tactical nous, positional sense or personality to be a consistent winner. This was a boring one

He was desperate to leave Liverpool twice to go to Chelsea! He stayed because there were threats made against his family. So he stayed against his will and out of fear. He was a great player for Liverpool and I would celebrate his goals for the club because they were good for the club. But I can't stand Steven Gerrard. I know i'm in a minority of Liverpool fans who would feel that way. But he's gushed about Mourinho enough times now to know that he wanted out and would have gone to Chelsea in a heartbeat.
