Yes Trump did say "I'm not talking about the white supremacists and neo nazis, they should be condemned totally". This was literally the next line right after the "very good people on both sides" clip that the news kept using to claim Trump was a racist.

I told my mom she was being lied to about Trump after sitting back for two years watching people react. I showed this to my mom and she said well I don't believe him anyway. I said mom, the point wasn't if you believe him, the point was that the media lied to you. Four years later and she still stuck in her feelings. Trump is "literally worse than Hitler". Still can't talk to her about anything. So sad.

Either way, I think a lot of people did. They were just so excited about having a "black" president. I mean, I didn't vote for Obama, but I didn't vote until the 2020 election at 36 years old. My entire life I didn't give a crap about politics or politicians or who the president was. Then I discovered Steven Crowder through Change My Mind videos, which opened up an entire new world to me.

The cherry on top was when Obama and the Democrats blamed the Republicans for being unable to do anything in congress, when the first two years of his presidency Obama had a Super Majority and could push through whatever policies he wanted. His presidency was so so much nothing that the only thing I remember about it is him talking about "That could have been my son" and how his plan for "Public Healthcare" was to force everyone to buy private insurance or get a fine.

Sometimes, Van, you try to cling to your misinformation, even while you say you want to learn. Trump literally said, “There are fine people on both sides of the argument - and I’m NOT talking about the white supremacists. I condemned them completely.” The media always cuts the last part out of the quote, so as to claim he said the OPPOSITE of what he actually said. That’s an irrefutable fact.

But Trump supporters already know this stuff and Trump haters don't want the truth. And when you show them they want it more and more in another way in other context. You can't give these Trump haters enough facts right in their face to ever get them to let the lies go. They and people just like Van want to hate him. He admits he wants people to prove he has a right to hate president Trump.

Ignoring facts to cling onto bias. By ignoring information that proves you wrong you don't have to feel bad about all the time spent being wrong. Nobody likes being wrong but when you ignore facts, hard facts, confirmed through multiple tests done by multiple different groups over dozens of years all it does is make people wanna talk to you less. What's the point? Why bring up 300 different articles, 150 different videos and 100 different scientists to prove my case when you're just going to ignore it and go "yes but, personally, I think" to all arguments? It's a waste of time and energy.

What I don't understand about black americans is the fact they can't see the lies by the media when it's about white people ie trump but when a black person faces the system like oj Simpson who was guilty imo then they don't believe anything the system says! Even Malcolm x who I don't like because he was a true racist especially early in his life, said the media has the power to make the innocent man guilty and the guilty man innocent! But somehow they believe everything about trump and even use the systems lies and propaganda to try prove the lies correct! then they expected chauvin to walk free because the system is corrupt, make up your damn minds! Brainwashed and Completely delusional!

That Charlottesville speech is one of the main things that woke me tf up. I remember watching the speech LIVE, then seeing the coverage within minutes clipping out the part where he straight up condemned the racist there. They replayed that clip for nearly four years and people STILL don’t believe the full transcript of his speech. The media straight up created a false narrative and got away with it. That wouldn’t be the first or only time they twisted his words to anger the public. It’s nuts.

I'm gonna go against the grain and, despite being a fan of Crowder, he didn't cite any source on this segment of "Change my mind" at the usual place, his website (not written here to evade the YT link censor bot). The segment was covered in an article dated August 14, 2019, written by Courtney Kirchoff. Here's the full text: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "TRUMP IS NOT A RACIST: CHANGE MY MIND Steven Crowder takes Change My Mind to the White House to have real conversations with real people on hot button issues. In this edition, Trump is not a racist. [Video embed] Seems like the media has done rather a bang up job of confusing people over what is real and what isn't real. So it's not so much that Trump is a racist, but media needs everyone else to believe he is. Kind of frightening how influential "fake news" media is with real people, no?" Then there are recommended links to other CMM segments. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Don't misunderstand, I have a good feeling we can go about and easily find solid sources to all his claims ourselves (as it should be for our own sakes), however the fact they aren't there in this one instance contradicts your statement.

He also updates his facts to make sure things are accurate. "The new numbers are 300k instead of 250k we reported last week." People often complain that he only talks to college students but they forget 2 things. 1) a lot of "news" studios or other shows that talk Democrat politics have banned certain people from being invited as Crowder, Petterson and Shapiro are a few of the names banned by some places. 2) anybody can sit down. The all knowing professors can sit if they want but never do. Closest we got recently was a "journalist" that had prepared sites before sitting down and even the site he spoke from still gave the numbers Crowder gave.

5:50 - This whole thing was one of my eye opening moments about Trump. I don’t blame you for not knowing that Trump outright condemned white nationalists during a speech which was clipped for news coverage with just the statement “good people on both sides” to suggest to the audience that trump was calling white nationalists “good people”. It was a constant stream of blatant lies by omission. Anyway, so yes. In this infamous “good people on both sides” speech he outright said right after that comment “and I’m not talking about white nationalists, they should be condemned completely”. Just another example on the pile of gross lies that we’re pumped into the minds of the American people to paint trump as a racist. Great vid as always, keep up the awesome content!

Trumps sin was that he didnt excoriate the white nationalists enough. What is "enough" you may ask? Well for the people complaining about it, they mean the entire press conferenece wasnt explicitly a rebuke, even then i dont think they would be gracious enough to consider Trumps response adequate. They hate Trump solely because he has a (R) next to his name on a ballot. I have my reasons for not liking Trump, and i certainly wouldnt vote for him, but at least im not so tribalistic for my political party that id scream "racist" just to win political points.

You’d have to find a recording of the original speech, but they are out there. The reason people bring up Obama when talking about the ‘kids in cages’ is because people say Trump is racist because of the kids in cages. But Obama did it, too. The Obama administration did not separate families as a matter of policy, as the Trump administration did as part of its “zero tolerance” border policy in 2018, but separations occurred on a case-by-case basis for parents being prosecuted on more serious charges than illegally crossing the border or in cases when an adult was suspected of not being a child’s parent. On trump being racist… I don’t believe he’s a card carrying member of the KKK but he has said some inappropriate things such as “I don’t want blacks counting my money.” And “there are dood people on both sides.” Now I don’t know about you but there are no good people who are racists so why would he say that? I’m sure you’re aware he and his father were sued for housing discrimination back in 1973. They lost that case and said “ the government couldn’t prove their case but we settled for a minimal price. If the government couldn’t prove their case (which if you research it they did) why would they settle instead of fighting it and clearing their name? Just some thoughts…

Actions speak louder than words and he did more to help the black community than Obama ever did. On the subject of ‘hood people on both sides’, again, watch the full speech. He was talking about regular people protest the removal of a statue. Some wanted to keep it, some didn’t. They were not white supremacists. He condemned the white supremacists. Don’t know when he said that about blacks counting his money. Can you provide a source? Preferable with full context, because most people leave that out. The kids in cages: a court ruled that if the parents were subject to legal action, the kids couldn’t stay with them. But people were mad about them being separated. You’ve got to pick one, though. Do you want the kids taken away from the parents, or do you want the kids locked up with them? The only other option is to just let everyone go. And that’s not a good option, either.

LFR FAMILY: It's not unfair to bring Obama into it. If the argument is that "Trump is a racist because of enforcing X or Y Policy", then the question has to be asked if other presidents were racist by the same measure. More than likely, the young lady would have said that Obama was not racist but that would be an inconsistent use of the metric she herself used to define someone as racist since Obama, like Bush before him, enforced the same policy being used to condemn Trump. Bringing Obama into it is not actually a dig at Obama but rather a counter to the illogical argument being presented. Now, if she were to say that the policy also made Obama a racist, then she is at least being consistent with her reason. EDIT: And to be clear, I'm not trying to come at you. And after endless hours of research I voted for Trump in 2020 *because* of everything he'd done in an effort to actually *uplift* the black community, which includes his stance on school choice, abortion and illegal immigration, all of which have tremendous effect. As the mother of biracial children that impressed me most, that and him being a fierce defender of our constitution, rights and freedoms. It was a no brainer for me this time, after actually doing my own research. Actions always speak louder than words. I'd rather a president who *shows* he cares with the policies he implements than one who *says* he cares but continues to punch us in the face. Much love, Sarah. Take care and God bless. 💕

Like, bro chill. Obama was just as shit as all the rest, he doesn't need your blind defense. Isn't that the whole point of exploring debate and contrary viewpoints? To learn how to stop doing this?

@@sthubbins4038 Donald Trump said what they demanded he say. The moderator's question stated that Trump refused to condemn white supremacists. Would he take this opportunity to do so? This was a lie because he condemned and disavowed them at each and every interview as it was brought up continuously during the 2020 campaign. This showed the leftist narrative and shows how they manipulate people's perception. Trump asked who do you want me to disavow and I will. Biden chirped up and said the Proud Boys. We must listen with an unbiased ear to what these tricksters are saying. They are supposed to represent us and show that they only care about power. Will say anything to get elected.

The reason Crowder brought up the problems in Europe is because this woman was framing her argument as if white supremacy is a *uniquely* American problem, when she had already talked about how it was a problem in Germany to a much more serious degree. It was not a deflection and it was not a topic change, it was a counter argument to prove that she had already admitted to her home country having these problems while at the same time she insists it's only a U.S. problem.

It's not so much being pushed back but used as foot soldiers. What people don't see is that the Left is Marxism with intersectionalism lipstick on. What they have done is stealthily follow Antonio Gramsci's plan to erode confidence in the cultural modes of production that had prevented revolutions in developed nations. Those cultural modes of production are: The Church which has seen a decrease in membership overall has also seen many sects be infiltrated by Marxist victim classes. Government now wants us to believe incoherency like a man can be a woman in addition to it's normal ineptitude. Entertainment. One word is needed at this time...Disney. Corporations. Again, Disney and a whole bunch more. Education. Look at Florida. James Lindsay's The New Discourses podcast goes into much more detail. Furthermore, Gramsci was associated with the Frankfurt school which gave us gems like Critical Theory which was later updated to include race and be known as CRT and Marcuse's idea that anything the left does needs to be tolerated and praised while anything on the right needs to be opposed at all costs. To conclude, Marxism uses the people it is supposedly saving to terrorize the oppressors to then gets oppressed by they same people and advancement becomes a matter of ideological purity instead of merit. Sorry for pontificating. :)
