*Edit: too tired to come back and reply later, just gonna erase my original comment. However I’ll leave my point here. What I’m trying to express is, it’s disingenuous and lazy to believe that communism or socialism occasionally succeeding at something negates the overwhelmingly significant impact capitalism has had and continues to have across the world on: -poverty (as capitalist influence has increased, poverty’s decreased), -quality of life, -safety, -innovation (Which countries have the most patents, IP and copyright filed?) -economic stability and growth (How many socialist or communist based countries have collapsed or starved their citizens regularly?), -environmental protection (Most communist/socialist based countries can’t afford to switch to ‘green energy’ or reduce their carbon foot print, and even when they do, it’s at the expense of their citizens who are left without power, and scavenge for things or use their forests for fuel instead), -legal consistency, -crime/accountability (sorry many countries and regions of south America and Africa, such beautiful and interesting lands and cultures but it’s also super sketchy due to crime rates, corruption at every levelm gangs/organizations that practically govern turfs), -accountability during things like warfare (looking at you Russia, launching missiles and rockets without care into apartment buildings and civilian targets without care, something we’re not allowed to do and take very serious in the instance of it happening as due to intel, equipment or personnel issues), -and protection of rights (looking at you, China and North Korea- though North Korea could really fail in every category listed above). Even the majority of success socialist and communist countries does happen to find, can either be traced back to a capitalist transaction or influence, OR the exploitation or abuse of others, without providing a fair and legitimate means to seek reparations or consequences as they would in most capitalist based countries. It may not be perfect, but in comparison to China, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea, I’d say capitalist countries try to do a damn good job of protecting people’s right and property and offering legitimate civilized means to pursue justice upon violation of said protections Acting like the systems are equal is like acting a broken clock (stuck displaying 6:15 at all times) and a vintage, maintained, in time clock are the same just because they happen to both say 6:15 at 6:15. It completely disregards every discrepancy in detail and value between the two in order to simplify, dumb down, or run from the various significant arguments/points separating the two.

What the black conservatives are saying about the treatment they receive is spot on. I’m black and gay and I was in a tough point in my life already. The hate I got on social media for simply questioning the democrats and the mainstream was unreal. Before I even put my support behind trump, they called me a supporter and a race traitor. I was homo and transphobic. I was being unfriended. It was ridiculous. I ended up leaving social media for a while.

I had the same position as the tall conservative on the back left side. Neither candidate had earned my vote. I knew Hillary was awful, but I was seriously worried when Trump actually won the election. I was however convinced that he was the best choice early in his presidency. Over the 4 years he was in office, he was smeared, slandered, and lied about throughout the media and Hollywood. All that did was to solidify my support for him. It proved that he must have hit a powerful nerve and exposed a lot of corruption. If he was an "insider", they would have left him alone (like Biden). But the fact that they smeared him only proved that he was doing what he said he would do. I did vote for him during the re-election and support him to this day.

Do you think it was conservative Christians who fought and gave you gay rights? No it wasn't, and it will never be, it was your gay and liberal friends. And the same story is true for both minority rights and women rights. So when people are "shocked" that gay people, women or minorities goes conservative... it is not because of offense, but out of concern. Am I saying that all conservatives hates gay people? No, I'm not. But what I am saying is that there is an awful lot of conservatives who do, and when you vote with them, you bring them vote step closer to holding actual power over your life.

As a gay man I 1000% agree about the “lgbtq community”. Why can’t you just be a person? Why do you have be a “community”? A neighborhood is a community. The “lgbtq community” is communistic, hateful, inconsistent, and inconsiderate in their “welcoming environment” beliefs. I will be the first to tell you that these people need to grow the hell up. Stop acting like a 10 year old girl, and be a man or woman. Stop with your indulgence in fantasy, and experience some reality. I’ll leave you with a pure truth. I made a conscious decision to attend one of the best universities in California and take on student loans. I have never considered putting my hand out and beg the government to bail me out after graduating college. It took me 8 years to pay off my student loans. I get it, I supported Obama because he was black. Back than I believed that the presidency didn't have an effect, I was a typical nihilist who thought the left and right bred the same result. I was convinced it didn't matter so I just chose the "black guy" and looking back it was kind of messed up. I do believe now that the choice of president has real consequences, though corruption plagues both sides I do feel like Biden has been terrible and I'd much prefer to have Trump be president right now. Not to say I'd dismiss any democrat, I would have voted for Tulsi gabbard or someone who was a classical Liberal type like Tim Pool. The moment I knew I was a Conservative was when I was following the Democrat primary election and the guy I felt was the ONLY reasonable guy was voted out for being to Rightwing. Than I looked at right wing people for a comparison than realized that they reflected nearly all my views. I felt like I had been lied to for my whole life. I defaulted left, and I didn't even know what they ACTUALLY supported. I always thought it was heart vs greed, but it's all an illusion forced on children behind the scenes over a long period of time. He’s far FAR from a racist...and so the way the media painted him as one is suuuuper incorrect and ironic. That’s why we have to turn them off and do our own research and think for ourselves...if you let others think for you, you will be easily fooled into believing lies. Which makes that person a what? A fool. 🤷🏼‍♀️ My point, his family has NOT been taking over the US for a long time. That is factually untrue.

Lol. ButI believe Trump not being a politician is the whole reason he became president and he couldn’t be bought

I am a Black man who was a Democrat by the second term of Obama I was neither Democrat nor Republican. Thanks to Obama I examined the facts, history of the Democrats and Republicans to better understand what they believed versus what the Democrats and mainstream media were saying. During the first two years of the Obama administration, the Democrats held both the upper and lower chambers of parliament and the executive branch: they could have done anything that they wanted to help the Black community. I did not hear anything about reparations for descendants of slaves, that argument is only brought up when conservatives are governing. The Democrats hold all of the cards now but you don’t hear anything about reparations for Slavery now in 2022 with Biden’s administration, why? I examined myself and realized that I had been lied to by liberal Democrats. I examined my faith and realized that everything I believe in as a Christian. Obama did a number of things for which he could have been impeached for it’s just that the Republicans did not see how that would help Americans. They would have been labeled as racist for following the law. There’s more however I don’t think it’s necessary to state because it continues the same pattern; I can thank Obama for turning me from a Democrat to a Republican, thanks Barry. I voted for President Trump in both elections, I tried to respectfully share what I learned with everyone regardless of race or creed, I offered and presented evidence and many of the liberal supporters refused to even look at my evidence and called me a liar. I was also called many different racist slurs by the the so called “tolerant Left .”I bare no responsibility for the state of our country. I am free from the Democrat Plantation’s mental slavery and I will never forget or go back. We really need to Make America Great Again. I am MAGA to the heart because I love America and Americans regardless of race, creed or color. As for Americans who hate this country, they are American in name only and even they have my prayers that they see the truth before it’s too late for us all.

Very well stated. I am a white man who welcomed Barry with open arms. By his second term, I knew I was mistaken. I didn't vote in 2016. I can't stand Killery and I thought the powers that be would never in a million years let Trump win. I grew up a Democrat. And Barry also turned me into a Republican. Who in truth are a bunch of idiots too. But there's no way I could stand in that cesspool they call the democratic party. 2018 is when I started digging and woke up to what was real. It's not an easy thing to do getting over your own cognitive dissonance. And I still can't make my wife see the light. It's rough at times.

@@daveo8684 thank you for sharing your story with me, I am married and my wife also didn’t want to believe what I had discovered about the Democrats. It’s taken awhile for her to ask me whenever it’s time to vote, my opinion the different measures and proposals on the ballot and to ask me what do I know concerning the different candidates. She’s coming around but things were hard for awhile. One of the biggest problems is all of the Race Baiters on the mainstream media. The media will run a storyline about anything that is negative, call it racist then mention Conservatives in a selected way and then run another negative comment or story no matter what it is. Now what this does is sandwich Conservatives between two or more disturbing events or comments, so the listener will start to associate or assume that it’s somehow tied to Republicans thereby influencing the people of their audience to think about Conservatives in a negative way. The mainstream media does this over and over again and they do it everyday. They have their own agenda and plans: they are relentless in the execution of this pattern of action and most people don’t see. My daughter is a young conservatives because she was willing to take a look at history. I told her the truth about where the Conservatives had failure and where they had success. I told her the same thing about Liberals and I let her make up her own mind. She’s sees the patterns of the liberal Democrats. I told her that I didn’t leave the Democrat party, they left me. It’s take’s time and not everyone is brave enough to face the truth; some people are willing to remain to be victims if it lets them keep feeling like they are right mainly because of their own pride want let them admit that they were wrong for most of their lives. I say just keep being honest with them in small doses and loving them, if you’re a man of faith, then pray for them and yourself. Pray that you are able to reach them and that they will see the truth. God bless you and may God bless and forgive America 🇺🇸.

Interesting discussion and I appreciate the question about what "rights" the LQBT community were losing. None of the things the speaker brought up were rights. They all had to do with funding for HIV care and one thing to do with serving in the military, which is not a right. People of all colors and backgrounds are rejected for military service every day for a variety of reasons. He kept saying trans rights but didn't name a single one. I would bet that if we still had conscription and people were drafted into the military, he would complain that blacks were over represented in the military because they don't have the resources to avoid it.

It really bummed him out but the whole thing wasn’t about “him”.. it was about the strength of our force. That’s why it’s NEVER been a “RIGHT” to serve in ANY of our United States’ military branches up until Bill Clinton (a lefty-of course 🙄) came along. That’s when he started introducing Gay’s in the Military because of homosexual protests and demands regarding their perceived so-called “rights” to serve. Clinton, waved ALL the problems and potential problems aside with that notion and moved the homosexual’s desires AHEAD OF NATIONAL SECURITY. It’s been a long, well-established fact that the Democrats typically have actual disdain for our military and are on a perpetual mission to weaken it. So, that move by Clinton, although erratic and highly irresponsible, was not a shocking one… coming from him. The Republicans and Democrats are in a perpetual cycle of building up the military and tearing down by depleting it just depending upon who is in office at the time. I’ll let you figure out who does what.

I am in a different house everyday for work. Much of my business takes to to the south side of Chicago in the predominantly black or Hispanic areas. I was shocked to hear how many were voting for Trump in the last election. They were proud to talk about it and it shocked me. Don't get me wrong, there were many who were against Trump and were more than happy to tell me about it as well. I don't talk politics on the job but it seemed like this last election cycle, everyone and their brother wanted to talk politics (might be the problem in this country). Many said they did not vote for him in 2016 but were happy with him and were voting for him in 2020. That threw me for a loop as the press would have me believe all black or Hispanic people hated Trump.

Yeah the media would have you assume that. I am Hispanic, and the first time I voted was in 2016 for the president of the United States. I was so excited to vote because I have always had a fascination with American History and how we came to be who we are. (One of the many reasons why I am getting a degree in American History) I come from a conservative household, and have way older parents than most people my age. I feel BLESSED to have my mom and dad as my parents because they taught me to think for myself, and that no one should be telling me how to vote, nor would they be telling me who to vote for, it was up to me alone. So I did my research and initially, I want Ted Cruz because he was from my beautiful state of Texas and I liked his politics. Once he was out and Donald Trump was the candidate, I knew I had to go with him. At the beginning, I thought he was just loud and wasn't serious about running, but once he won the primary.... I knew I had to take a SERIOUS look at him. Long story short, I voted for him in 2016. I never talked politics in high school because I saw how people were treating people that voted for him and I have already been bullied once in my life for not being Hispanic enough for the school I went to at the time. (I later transferred to a BETTER school and LOVED every minute of it) I didn't want to have that sort of treatment happen to me again because I knew I wouldn't just sit back and take it like I did the last time, but actually fight back..... I ended up voting for him again in 2020. The media is one that has been the one into putting the effort to keep us divided. They do not want us to get along with each other, so they create problems for us to argue about. I apologize for such a long block of text. Once I get going....its hard to stop! 😂😂
