The questioning & persistent pressuring on what to change & what to resume by the host Rich Roll to his Guest Diary of a CEO vhost Stephen Bartlett was interesting & I heartily agree with adding back that opening. However, I wondered IF the guest requested that evaluation & if it was meant to be reciprocated by the Host as both the innovated Young & the more experienced & hopefully wiser Older have much to learn from each other in this ever dramatically changing world. if the former the guest's repliesc seemed wonderfully candid, open & humbly vulnerable & appreciated. If the latter, the few questions asked of the host were met with indirect & evasive replies which were accepted without the persistence usually exhibited by Stephen Bartlett with his inquisitive mind on his own enjoyable Diary of a CEO. Though it was exceedingly long, it was thoroughly enjoyable, telling, & enlightening.on both sides. Respectfully, A Great Fan of Both Hosts😢

I am a long-time listener. As often happens, I somehow miss even knowing of these superstars until Rich brings them on. Then I love them, follow them, read their books, etc. More importantly, I've applied enough little pieces from enough of these guests (and Rich), that it has slowly made me a better version of myself. Thank you, Rich and Steven.

Regarding Rich's push for solo podcasts and reminding Steven that his show IS called "Diary of a CEO", I have always taken Steven's podcasts as the Dairies of Many CEOs with him exposing us to many interesting people and varied subjects. Having said that, I would enjoy listening to Steven singularly but sporadically because I tire of podcasts where only the host is spouting their topics, ideals, etc.

Some favourite parts: Success being measured in progress, rather than results. Being in a state of movement and direction, rather than just hitting benchmarks. But to keep moving and evolving. What do people not look at or care about, hone in on differences that you are drawn to and push it further. - Don’t rob people from their divine moment, don’t disrupt the process for someone, support and listen. ‘I believe you’ll find a solution and I’m here for you’. Let go of trying to solve peoples problems, let them reach out to find their own solution, whilst loving and accepting their process. A really well-rounded discussion, the part on downward spiral and upward spiral with in work and then relationships to parents, really hit home. I've not listened to Steven Bartlett before but his mindset is infectious.

Steven❤ what a beautiful 🧠. That fear of slowing down is okay especially at this age. Please carry on with your way until you find a different way. Carry on until your circumstances need you to show up differently. Do not change becuase someone thinks you need to add rest or relaxation or holidaying in your life. I believe you're smart enough to have some sort of balance in place. May not be enough for others but its your life kid. I honestly think 10yrs from now you wont regret working as hard when you decide you want to slow down

I believe Steven is in a form of meditation every minute of his day as he is always feeling his situation and will cancel something on the last minute if it doesn't feel right so therefore he is more aligned to his higher self on a continual basis and as life is in the present moment and he is in tune in the present moment being aware of how he is feeling, aware of being triggered and responding more than reacting..it's all in the present flow and meditation brings us back to the present flow which he is already living so I can understand why it's not a priority to put 30mins meditation in his diary..Great podcast.thank you.x

I completely understand Steven's point about blind faith. The truth is we can't see the wind, but we know it's there. Everything was designed and has a creator You both have very valid points.

Steve's sched sounds like mine and many others on Maui now. Non stop go go go, get things done; be as effecient with time; work, family and workout , from morning to night. On days I feel unfocused I notice a need to relax and take the time to converse with someone i didn't know at a store or watch fun videos at the end of the day. I allow brain a few moments of dead time these days to refresh. It allows me to get more things done and in a quality way. Down time is time we'll spent

Rich, two brilliant men that have a great respect for one another. Love this; feels supportive yet a slight spar, in a healthy way. Wow! Brilliant. Curious, and fear seems to still drive this younger brilliant and compassionate guest. Being a mixed race male creates a duality that was not addressed, the insecurities that exist.
