Steven is such a soul behind the drums, one of the best feels on drum I ever heard and beutiful to watch, such a stylish rnr drummer! Steven we love you...

Check this out, I worked at a place called the celebrity theater in Anaheim, California in the early to mid 80s. I worked parking cars. I meet the band back stage. I still have the drum stick Steven gave me. I still remember the owners were so scared of this band that they cut the theater in half, from 2500 seats to 1500, they tripled the security and guarded the doors because they thought they were going to burn the place down. My top 3 drummers, in no specific order are Bonham, Peart and Adler. If they have a reunion tour and start in Coachella I will be there to meet Adler again. Maybe I will see you there.

I love Steven. What a great solid drummer he is. Always was, always will be. So underrated. Top notch rock drummer. GnR Reunion my ass. Without him (and Izzy) it's not GnR. Period.

I don't get why people dislike Steven's playing. He's a very amazing drummer!!! I mean, just look at that!! His smile and joyous vibe is so infectious! I love him so much and wish he and Izzy are gonna be part of the reunion. I won't refrain from praying that to Our Lord. :)

Because he isnt super flashy. Hes a great time keeper and he plays for what the song needs. Not to show off. Very solid drummer

It's NOT Guns n Roses w/o you Steven!! You're part of the reason Guns is still played on multi-media outlets! You sound and look great! Keep rockin' brother! I had the great pleasure of meeting Steven the last time he toured with Adler's Appetite, at a rock club out in the Midwest. I made sure to be in the front row and played air drums along w/him to every single Guns n Roses song that he played that night! He even tossed me his drum stick which I still have 2 this day! After the show (which was great btw), I got 2 meet him and he signed my drum stick! And when I'd mentioned that I'd played air drums along to all the Guns n Roses songs that he'd played, Steven said, "I know! I saw you play to all the changes! You caught them ALL!!" That TOTALLY BLEW MY MIND!!! To realize that even though he'd been playing and had put on a really great show, he saw me playing along and took notice of the fact that I'd played and of how I'd played!! And this is BEFORE I had gotten a real drum set or taken lessons! But I had a pair of drum sticks, and made a faux drum set at home, using various house hold items! And played on that whenever possible! Lol!! So I just wanna thank Steven Adler, 4 being such a great person and musician and for having taken the time to interact with and encourage, a future female drummer! That's something that I'll always remember!! 👧🤘💕

Steven is on point here, but you can also here that iconic Slash sound on the guitars too. And the synergy between the two is what makes this song probably my favorite on the entire album. Even if GnR never has a full reunion (wishing but not pushing) a "Steven and Slash" album would be a good second place and still make me ean extremely happy human.

@Robert Goss Matt is very solid but doesn't gel and lock in with the band, it's like he's separated and doesn't listen to them...and has 0 creativity. Same stupid fills over and over (snare, tom tom or snare tom t-t-tom. You all know what I'm talking about LOL. There's a reason Appetite was so much better in feel than everything after.

Good musician! Unique snare beat and serves the song - demonstrates more advanced skill in the middle/end of the song with rolls on the toms and floor toms. Mr. Adler, it can only be a GNR reunion if you are the drummer there.

Snare beat on 2 and 4 in 4/4 timing isn't unique lel..... it's completely standard unless you're playing funk or some shit like that. Just sayin m8!

My favorite thing about Steven's playing really comes out on this particular track: I have always loved the way, the style, he plays the cymbals with. I can't name any other drummers who do anything quite like it and get his sound out of them. And it has more to do with how he plays them than it ever will the brand of cymbal (I know this is a sponsored video for a specific brand, but that's not the point).

All these cymbal makers are now thinning out their cymbals which gives them an amazing crash sound. The thinning out of cymbals is the reason Robert Zildjian had a conflict with his brother Arman, and so left the company and started his own company, Sabian. Now all of Zildjians new k custom range are all thinned out and extra hammering. Arman should have listened to his brother Robert. Now all big cymbal companies along with Soultone are going down that line
