These guys are really entertaining. They do Dio, Iron Maiden, Metallica, KISS, all in that bluegrass style.

Definitely, these guys have done some awesome covers of the trooper, aces high, born to be wild, seek and destroy, etc etc all in their blue grass style. Their cover of nothing else matters was awesome, it made it sound like a completely different song, even if it is still instantly recognisable.

They have a GORGEOUS cover of November Rain too!
Some Finnish madness again!!!
🇫🇮 Welcome to Finland y'all!! 🤠
Having binge listened Steve N. Seagulls, I was sure this was going to be one epic reaction.
They did a Nightwish cover of 'Sleeping Sun' they had Tarja Turunen as the guest vocalist.

I love how sleeping sun is slowly turning to polka BTW if they have the original vocalist for the song, does it still count as cover in your book?

aren´t finish bands the best and most fun bands in the world ? 😂😂😂 Oh man I was soooooooooooo waiting for it, your face was priceless. Hope you do some more of them, there are so many fantastic covers of them, which you will like too. They cover all kinds of bands, like Metallica, Pantera, etc etc wao a 9,1? I hoped you liked it but ...wao!! Think I send you some links in the following days.
You need to see them doing Pantera's Cemetary Gates. In Polka style!

Priceless reaction! They are really good musicians. They also do Piece of My Heart (Joplin) with Finnish singer Noora Louhimo which is the first song I saw them do. Do yourself a favor and check that one out too.

Definitely. There are very few living singers who can do Janis justice, and Noora is one of them.
I just love them! Saw them live last summer, and they just bring pure joy to the audience, and not to forget their talent🥰

The November Rain cover blew me away. One my favorites
YES THE HARMONIES! Sorry for shouting, but it's such a treat to see a tech savvy reaction of the Seagulls. (And an old piece too, they were such babies back then -- I remember when this came out and we all flipped our wigs here in Finland lol) You're right about the moonshine, it's honestly telling that you got there before they went into the drinking song like "la-lai-la-la-lai-lai" bits... I think you'd get a kick out of their cover of Still Loving You (for something more produced but just as off-the-wall), Maiden's The Trooper, or their version of Pantera's Cemetary Gates... hell, they even made me enjoy November Rain, which takes some epic doing. Loved your notes on the mix, I don't know what kind of audio wizard they have, but they manage to get a crisp live mix even when crammed into a literal shed somehow.
Fantastic, love it ❤ Great guys from Finland
Oh, I am really glad you did this one. I absolutely love it!
Wow! What a score! Take a dip in their back-catalogue - you'll enjoy it!
I laughed more at your initial reaction more so than at the video only because I have seen this countless times before and was hoping you'd react exactly as you did. I live in West Virginia and the first time I saw this video my very first thoughts were..."Oh My God, those are my neighbors from down the holler....." I was really surprised to find out they are from Finland. Anyway, I think its great that you not only got to see this video but also provide your reaction and review. Loved it!
I love how these Finns have embraced Appalachian culture.

There are plenty of back country in Finland.
The band is from Finland. I love their work.
Late to the party, I know, but I had to comment on your incredible attention to technical detail (German double bass bow! I'm duly impressed!). And on that note, pun massively intended, can we take a moment to appreciate that the anvil is perfectly in tune? "Anvil in B", if you will.
Good! I'm glad you went into the 9's. It deserves it just because of the wrench and anvil alone.... I've seen this song a bunch of times unintentionally. I don't know why it keeps popping up but it has for years now.
You can't take it away from them, they are an original and talented bunch of musicians. Unique and awesome.
9.9 and check out John Campbell's live cover of Memphis Minnie's "When the Levee Breaks" recorded at Jazzfest in 1993.
Moonshine jug can be found in their version of GNR’s November Rain
Put’s a smile on your face always \m/
Haha youre face in the beginning..... Priceless!!!
They even do Gimme some loving from ZZ Top among sheeps. They tour in the States time to time. Don't miss them. The best medicine if You are in bad mood!
This was pretty damn cool.

You asked where is moonsine: look/watch their "November Rain"!
They are Finns, Finland. Northern Europe. Neighbour country to us, Sweden.
Your face was purple. So I guess was mine, I had never seen this either. Thank you!
Yay for Finland! :D Great cover!
They do some pretty unique covers. If you think this is a weird cover, check out 'The Heimatdamisch' doing 'Sweet Child of Mine' in a Bavarian style.

I was literally typing this very same recommendation when I saw your comment, Mark. Great suggestion!
This is what they do, covers of (mostly) metal songs, in this style. You'll enjoy most of what they do, and I hope you tape some of it.
According to Wikipedia, they have already toured in 25 countries.
I've been waiting for this!
Yeah…they put their own spin and flavor you could say.
Exellent reaction 😅
Love this video
That was a fun one for sure.
Again, I love seeing you get surprised by bands with a different twist on cover songs. Props D!

Well that was entertaining! I loved it!
Really fun reaction! Never heard of these guys before but I agree that was great. Interestingly I have heard a couple other groups though do Bluegrass style covers of Hard Rock/Metal songs - I think the first I ever heard was a group called Hayseed Dixie doing Ace of Spades - and though it isn't a mix you would expect the two styles do seem to blend really well.
They’re so great and fun
I was sitting here with a big smile on my face, waiting for your reaction as the video started. The look on your face? Priceless!! As corny as they might seem on first glance, the guys are talented musicians and have made some pretty good covers.
I can't help but wonder what a cover of Sabbath's The Wizard would be like, and laugh.
This is doing a cover right and it brings me great joy.
HA! I comented and subscribed and liked before your video was over! How you like them apples 🤣😂🤣👍
Pickin' on Pink Floyd: A Bluegrass Tribute.......look it up!!! They also do other bands and it rocks !!!!

@@THEDavidHeretic man, this only happens in rock/metal music, our music os so rich , we have the chance to rewind and then hear the true power, I watched your reaction that day and I was like, damn it, believe it or not , people sometimes wait to hear you guys with the reaction channels to say all positive, but hey, like you always say, you’ll be honest, and that something I like, I’m happy to read you and and know that you enjoyed that show, I haven’t had the chance, hopefully someday, florida is not a much metal state!. Peace David. I will see you on the next one. God bless you.
Wow, I am shocked at that score! Not that I don't think it was deserved, I was hoping for at least an 8. That was fantastic and very entertaining, I friggin' love it and doing to look them up and see what else they do. Absolutely loved your reaction and agree with all you had to say, Thanks David!
They're not the only band doing that kind of covers. Buck Sawtooth did a great cover of Maidens Run To The Hills.
You are my FAVORITE reactor. I'm laughing so hard. And I thought they were great!!!
Moonshine is in November Rain video
Seen them live. I love them
You should also look at the 2Cello's version
That's a genre-bending blast! hahaha...I've seen a rockabilly rendition of "Ace of Spades", which was great, too! A great novelty song...
You know there's a tribute band in Australia that's still trying to get this song right.
9.4! Well done Seagulls! Nightwish covered Pink Floyd and they got 8.8.
You've been thunderstruck.... ;-)
Watch their cover of November rain, the moonshine is there. And a great song to boot....
They are the ONLY foreign band which has reached #1 in Billboard's bluegrass list.

Like that watch November rain
saw them at the nova rock festival. they are multi-instrumentalist. they are fun. they are great
These guys are genius
you have to do "The two cellos" version too!
You don't even know what's stripped down drum kit until you see their PANTERA "Cemetery Gates" performance from Union Square Park, NYC in 2015. The drummer used Samsonite luggage as a kick drum there, with the handle bouncing around in the beat.
Moonshine is in an another cover. Keep watching:)
You should check out 2 cellos cover of thunderstruck
Haha Nice reaction :D
Finnish bluegrass! They are they best... love Steve'N Seagulls!
By the way, first funny fact, they are from Finland... Second, the name is a pun on Steven Seagal (that is how its supposed to be pronounced: "Steven Seagals"...) You can say with only those two bits of info that this is going to be good...
They cover other rock bands in this European bluegrass style. I believe the band is from Finland. Hadn't seen the video in ages, but I enjoy their covers. You should also check out 2 Cellos, I think it's two brothers who play rock music on those instruments. Glad you enjoyed it.
👍🏻👏🏻
They are a Bluegrass band from Finland. They have done "You Shook Me All Night Long" I was made for loving you by KISS, MASTER OF PUPPETS by Metallica. They are terrific musicians
This is great... reminds me of another group called Iron Horse that does bluegrass versions of songs like these guys.
More seagulls needed. Much more.
There was a group several years ago called Hayseed Dixie who mostly did ACDC covers in Bluegrass format.
For the moonshine view their version of November Rain...
Do you know RUSSIAN Cover Rammstein "Du riechst so gut"? Very well done. This Instruments omg
That Finnish woven bark hat tho!
I always wonder if this is a cover of Hayseed Dixie's cover of Thunderstruck...
The Death South are also great ❤Cello playing as a guitar
I'll give this reaction to Steve'n'Seagulls. Hopefully they watch. :)

Moonshine is in November rain. Check it out. It`s great.
P.S. if you want a different yet entertaining rap vid, I loved this, but not rap, try the bad touch by the bloodhound gang. If you love covers done to perfection, watch foxes and fossils, the best cover band out there, instruments by all old guys, and three 20 years old perfect pitch ladies. They are worth a listen. Peace from Northern Michigan.
As a comparison to what I rewatched yesterday, this got a higher score than The Grudge! I'm glad I checked this one out, and I'm surprised how well the song works in that style.
