Can I rip on the story of a GameStop manager getting involved? I can't help but feel this is just some more appeal to authority bullshit Mitchell loves to do. Someone who operates and runs a store from a big video game chain that focuses mainly on modern games (at least, at the time) surely is fully-versed in the retro gaming world and knows how to set up an arcade game from 30 years ago, right? They're managers; not god gamers and technicians. 🤦 Even with just the cabinet locking, it just feels like the GameStop manager was tacked on with the intent to give it more credibility from the position alone.
