Someone will be stupid enough to pay him more. From listening to him he still thinks he's elite. He's not. I could be wrong, but I don't see him taking less to stay. Players are greedy now. It's not whether they can win it's whether you pay them the most money. They can to 60 and lose or 50 and win. They'll take the 60. Oddly they can't spend either, yet they choose the option for money over winning. Even when the less money is still more than they could ever spend in 10 lifetimes.

Until they find someone who can do what he does.. the team is 14-15 without him this year. Everyone likes to blame Green on everything, thats like the popular thing to do. The only thing Green needs to do is figure out a way to keep his emotions in check which he did when he came back. And the suspension actually gave GS a reason to get KD. We cant look in hindsight because lets say they win 2016, they have no reason why they need to pick KD and we dont know if 17 and 18 are automatic championships because of it. People love to play this blame game when things go wrong.

Under "normal" circumstances they would have been battling in 4th or threatening to challenge the top 3 record wise.... Like what was said, since the all-star break they're the 4th best record or something?

they were 4-19 against the good teams this year. 16-0 against the 6 worst in the NBA. Against everyone else they were 26-17. They aren't close. I guess if you didn't have to play anyone good and could play the 6 worst teams every game they'll be in. Yes 26-17 isn't bad. But that's 17 loses against teams that have ZERO chance of winning anything. Teams like the Hawks. They are a playoff team. My Lord they are bad, yet they made the play in which is the playoffs. You win you move on. That's the playoffs. Denver isn't going anywhere, OKC, Dallas, The Kings, NO, and Minnesota. Good luck if they keep those 3 aging players with old legs. I'll say it again Father Time never loses. He beats the snot out of aging players. Even healthy you were winning nothing. 360 million in payroll to win what? Nothing.

They are closer than people think (though fading). What was missing the past two years? Simply-size. So frustrating to see them play small ball and not be able to defend or rebound consistently in the post. Need to be able to get easy baskets in the middle to set up better scoring opportunities from outside. Get the center from UConn who’s quick twitch high-energy play, could be the perfect compliment to their style of play and help them get back into contention.

If he says break it up and do what it takes to contend then that's what they'll do and if he says I want to play out the senior circuit with my boys then that's what they'll do. He's earned that right. Would Dubs fans like another title run, of course. I’d keep klay. Get rid of cp3. Choose between moody or podz. (One has to go) and put one of them with wiggins and ship em out.. wiggins is killing the team. He ain’t been good since that finals run… so try to swap them for some sort of big man that is skilled offence and defensive wise.. also could maybe even look for a new shooting guard? Maybe even someone like d murray from the hawks but idk what they can offer for him. But yeh. I would run it back with klay for the next season and just see what happens.. but clean out the rest of the team!

No team wants Wiggins contract. It's not like it's 1 year and it's gone. He had one good run in the playoffs I'll give him that. But every other year he's been bad. Why would anyone want the contract for a bad player. All you want is a skilled big man with defense. Every team in the NBA wants that. Get in line. Murray doesn't fit. Murray is good when he's the man. He's not the man in GS. He plays poorly in the roll. It's why it doesn't work with the Hawks. With Young, Murray is average at best. Without him he's pretty good. Murray on GS is the same. You are just exchanging Young for Curry. Both have the ball, Murray doesn't.

It’s obvious the Warriors are not gonna be better next year by keeping the original 3 , Father Time has caught up to them. It was so obvious against the Kings , the speed was too much and Warriors can not play top defense for an entire game. Curry can not take over games anymore. He will still have 30, 40 pt games , his shooting has become just eye candy for the fans . It really has minimal impact against the quality teams in the league

  • @larrylindgren9484

Fans don't like to hear that but it's true. Curry used to score 35+ and GS almost always won. Now they mostly lose. Jacking up 3s is great for highlight shows but if that's all you are you aren't winning much. Over the last 3 years GS has been the 10th best in the West and I'm being kind. One and done twice and another a 7-game series they were lucky Fox got hurt or they'd have lost than one. They aren't close to anything. And have zero money to spend and zero draft capital to use. But they might have 3 old players getting them 45ish wins a year and a 1 and done in the playoffs.

The Warriors GM needs to make business decisions based on data and common sense, not emotion and nostalgia. Kerr is too emotionally attached to the core group, who are getting older and are past their primes. The Warriors need to get younger and it would make sense to at least explore trading Klay, Draymond, Wiggins, etc. This is business.

It's so strange that everyone is acting like the Warriors are just too old and washed up, and the dynasty is clearly over, blah blah blah.. when they literally just won the championship in 2022...! You all say, "It's not the 2010s anymore", but that's such an invalid take, considering the fact that they won it all just the year before last...!! If their last championship was 2018, I might agree with you all.... I think everyone is jumping the gun here..... The problem is that the Warriors don't need Chris Paul.... They needed Jordan Poole.... Everyone is shitting on Poole, but he was so good for us in 2022.... We wouldn't have won that championship without him.... Draymond broke up that championship team, and then, instead of trading Poole for guys that we actually needed, we went and got 87 year-old Chris "No Rings" Paul! 🤦‍♂️ We need size... We need guys who can protect the rim, grab offensive boards, etc..... So that was the mistake of the Warriors organization.... They just kept enabling Draymomd and never held him accountable, and by trading Poole, it made Draymond think he can get away with anything, and that ended up ruining this season.... So, the steps that GS needs to take in order to be real contenders again are simple: 1. Trade Chris Paul and some role players, and maybe a future draft pick, for a couple solid big men who can protect the rim for us..... 2. Be hard on Draymond and stop enabling him..... 3. Kerr needs to give Looney more minutes.... 4. Keep Klay coming off the bench..
