Steve Ignorant and partner Yona pop in to see Sid and Zillah from Rubella Ballet after being in lockdown for so long. Me and Zillah have been friends with Steve for over.40 years meeting at the second Crass Gig and having my second home at Dial House staying for dinner and being included in what’s going on and having the feeling your part of something bigger.
Crass and Rubella Ballet shared many a stage from the late seventies and 80’s and what with Steve going out with Zillah’s sister Rachel he became as much a part of the family as I was.
We have together survived a plethora of attacks by fascist skinheads trying to break up gigs and make it even harder being punk.
Steve’s painting has blown me away and getting a visit from the king of punk cheered me right up
The best bit of this video is how much we are all laughing so naturally, laughing so hard. I couldn’t stop laughing and the video shows that so much it will reduce you to tears.

A great vid mate. Without doubt some of my best memories were of gigs by Crass and Rubella Ballet and all those other fun anarcho bands. The Crass ones were unforgettable.....but (ssh) the Rubella Ballet ones were more fun.
