I'm so glad he mentioned the love that he had for his mom in spite of the many challenges he endured with her. You can tell he has a really good heart. May God's hands continue to push him forward in life.

Just because this i am going to seek into adopting a kid but fostering first. I was in fostercare and i wasn't as lucky as ben but god is good and i persevered. I am 30 now and the hells ive seen as a child ,i cant unsee but if i can prevent someone else from a similar hell by just loving them . I will. 😍 Im workin on becoming a social worker to give back . Hopefully one day that will happen.

Amen!! I have a 20 yr old son and 90% of his friends ha e been in my life since 1st grade!! At 15 when they had no where to go cut their mom kicked them out they knew I was a text or call away!! Today tomorrow and forever I love all the boys who grew up in and around my home.

can you cry so much and touched my heart because I was put into a foster home at 14 and the woman took me in and I consider her as my mother but she's gone now and I miss her so much. I don't think I would have become the woman I am today if she was not in my life. I miss her and I love her so much. It's inspired me to always want to help others kids and teenagers who are in trouble.

Why oh why did I watch this....blowing my nose even before mum came in, dramatic crying out loud when both were talking to her.....got a headache now from all the crying.....thank you for making me a hot mess.

Such a wonderful don raised the right way with love respect and to MomCat such a beautiful woman to give him what was needed at the time in his life when probably seemed like no one cared thank you to Carly and Steve for the love you gave for Ben and to the thousands of boys he will mentor and guide and help to grow up to become great men and leaders love pass it on I love this show Steve have watched this episode quite a few times wish sometimes I had that kind of love when I was growing up from my mom and never knew my dad but so thankful for my grand parents who loved me and my sister and brother enough to raise us till my mom and step dad came and took us to Ind. I hated leaving and when I was able went back home to TN stayed there till my my aunt and grandad passed then had to leave TN came to CA I WISH I could go home and buy our home back that was lost to me because my aunt passed away before she had the chance to take me and have my name put on the deed as she was going to do so being the age I am now have’nt been back there in years came to CA in 92 but if someone gave me a million dollars I would go home I have a son that lives in Clarksville where my sister brother and I were born and I have’nt seen him since the 80’s when he visited us once but looking forward Lord willing to seeing him as he comes out to spend Christmas with us so doing things to make the apt. we live in look nice and my youngest son who lives up over me upstairs in the apt. building where we are in two bedroom says he can sleep up there at night since my two grandsons and my daughter live with me down stairs in our two bedroom apt. it is a four plex so not a lot of noise neighbor hood is quiet it’s gated have to have keys to get in tenant parking is inside and I like it a lot for the safety can get outside and walk around plenty of space so I thank God for where we are now but I still want my own home one day before the Lord takes me home I miss that ok guess you say I’ve said a mouth full yes in deed I did but truly thankful to God my Savior ❤❤❤

In this case, it took a special lady to be the "Mom Cat" this lost little boy needed to become the man he is today...blessings to them all for not just what they've achieved here! First time in my life I blew a snot bubble crying so hard. I have a son I gave birth to 3 years ago. I’m still young however this truly made me realize my calling. There so many babies in this world that need love just like him. God as my witness I will have another child through adoption. Any age, all that matters is the love.
