Listen. I LOVE OUR BLACK MEN! GOD BLESS THEM AND PROTECT THEM.
Steve Harvey has humility...a Grand dad at a young age
Gratitude is absolutely right. Whenever I start getting down, I think about all the people who are suffering and how lucky I am.
“Joy and depression cannot reside in the same space”. Put that on repeat👍🏽

I don't beleive this. You might have depression, but every day is not a bad day. You don't feel in the dumps every day, and you don't hate life every day. Some days are good days, some days people make you happy, they make you smile, and you can have a good time with them. That is Joy. You might have depression, but you can also have joy. It all depends on your frame of mind and what you are thinking. Change the way you think. REPEAT THAT!
I'm not crying, you're crying. Uncle Steve out here saving generations.
Steve is my dad not blood but this man's words have gave me a path in life that no father has in my life . I never met him but I as a 50 year old man has cried more listening to his words .I pray to God to meet this man I call a father and a friend I never met . I would cry like a baby . Thank you father for your heart and words you supply all the people that are your family. Love you very much .

That's why most of Fatherless people become successful in life. Because they Got to learn it the Hard way. But you still can connect with people who have a very challenging story like Steve Harvey. They'll always have much to teach.

The way he talks and understands things seem very much alike his father. The man may haven't been in Steve's life a lot till he was 16 (as he said), but to me it seems like he worked his ass off to pass on his qualities that he thinks a man should have to his son.
Broderick is as wise as his dad!!!! Watching for the second time!!! Respect to all men out there finding best ways to be you as much as we women strive for too
"Manhood ain't money, manhood is a series of ACTIONS" Wow, if that is not the truth I don't know what is!! This is such a touching and needed segment. I love how those guys were ready and willing to mentor the teenage boy. Steve you are an amazing person, father, and leader.

His son has a gift of wisdom that's crazy - get that boy a podcast or mentoring spot. What you went through wasn't wasted.
I love the way Steve’s son answered that question ❤

Hope he finds a mentor--maybe a good Uncle, a grandfather, or from outside family like a school professional (guidance counselor or teacher) or competent bosses/employer. Also, develop friendships with fellow students who have strong solid, values-centered family. As a young man, listen and follow right principles of life.
9:53. The lady crying in green, all the hands that went up when Steve asked " who gon mentor him?" God bless you Mr. Harvey
This is such a refreshing subject. Men talking about men to other men. I love it!!!!!

I love Steve he always know the right things to say and he always dropping gems.
I love that quote, manhood ain’t about money!!

This is one of the best I've ever listen to... Thank Uncle Steve
I'm so thankful to God that he allowed me to have my dad for 27 years 🙌🏼🙏🏼💖 My parents were young but they were parents. They loved me so much🙌🏼🙏🏼💖🕊🕊🕊
Preach... it's some Black Man Magic.. Man Magic in general.. in this video clip. Thanks Steve!!! 😊😍
I hope this video reaches every young soul who doesn’t have that father figure in their lives.
We always belong to our kids/family first before we belong to the world.

You've got that right CD. Current culture has kicked men to the curb. I has slurred, defamed, disowned and denigrated us. Too many women are of the notion that they can do it all as a single parent. They can't. They are women, not men. Children need and want a father in their lives. This vid is a great service to society and men. Thank you Steve.
Awesome conversations that NEED to happen! Steve is doing a great thing to get these men together to have these honest conversations! Bless him Lord! 🙌🏾

I'm 55 and my father is 80. I still call him for great advice and I pass it on to my son. Sometimes my son calls my father for advice 💪
You're uncle Steve to me, I don't need anything, but those words of motivation, they are priceless. Not to only young men but us women as well. Thank you
This is beautiful!!! Need more stuff like this
My brothers and I all grew up with a mom and dad but we were a dysfunctional family. Domestic violence was a common thing in the house. Dad was physically and verbally abusive to all of us. He's a narcissist. Nobody dared to oppose him because he's got guns (He's in the military). Then one day our dad finally left us, mom had to raise us all by herself. She worked hard day and night so she can put food on the table and send us all to school. There were times we couldn't even go to school because we couldn't afford the bus fare. It was really tough but all the pain and the struggles didn't stop us from reaching our dreams. My mom was our solid rock and if it weren't because of her, we won't be successful professionals today. Now, she deserves all the love and support in her old age. As for my brothers, despite the childhood trauma caused by our abusive dad, they still managed to work on themselves and be the kind of man they are right now. So proud of them. ♥ Never ever let your bad experiences ruin your dreams. Use it as your motivation. 💪
uncle Steve is a blessing to us all. I wish more parents, adults and kids can get to know about his messages.
We want this show periodical Mr steve because its inspire a lots of man around the world

Imir, two parents apart and happy is 10000% better than two parents together and unhappy. Seriously!!! I’ve lived it and it sucks, and I chose to stand by that with my oldest and looking back, 8 years later.. I still stand by it.
Good-looking young men! Good job Steve for raising these young men to be all they can be and respectful ❣️.

Steve gave some solid advices 👌
Few people are able to talk with powerful words, for sure Steve is one of them.
Steve, thank you for being such a loving person and speaking out. My goodness, the world needs more of this, and we need to put more of it out there. ❤

The best thing you did dude because you have truly healed from within and guess your dad must be regretting his past actions now but then its in the past and it has to be that way. Be strong when you eventually become a dad someday to your kids. My take.

It is the egg and sperm that miraculously creates another human being how then can we be talking about single parent? He's my baby's father but he's not my husband, she's my baby's mother but she is not my wife. This is the major problem as it relates to the issue of relationships too many persons are not counting the cost, and that moment of pleasure becomes a lifetime of pain and regret.
My husband passed away when my son was 6 (he's the baby) and he missed all that. It hit him hard as a teenager well starting at 12. Stayed in trouble. I was so scared for him the stuff he was doing. He's not 19 now and I'm so incredibly proud of him. He's a good father, goes to school and works. He completely cut all the bad stuff. He learned the power of trusting prayer.

We have the same first name. My mom and dad had a pact: he went and played baseball on Friday nights...and on Sunday he had to get up get us out of the house by 8(three girls) we always went for a ride on the merry go roind wentbto parks went to fishbor to the beach in San Diego. It was a perfect arrangement..my mom got to go to a matenee by herswlf in the after noon. The lady who lived accross from us always made coffe and looked out her kitchen window to see my dad with us. She said when he dies...thats what she pictured....years later many people have moved in and out of our house bit she still lives there. She still makes her coffee..and sees him getting us in the car.
Great video Mr. Steve keep us the good work and very nice speech
You know as children you will always be curious about your other parent. It's a natural mindset. So going over and finding out is perfectly fine but talk to the parent your living with let them know your not disappearing for good. Communication is key.
Manhood is series of Action🎯
My utmost respect to you Steve for making this talk show episode!
Steve, you are so right ... when kids grow up in a troubled relationship, they will emulate it thinking that's how it should be.
my son was raised by me alone..and also had his grandmother..daddy dearest wasnt even there cuz of..well alcohol.drugs so on so forth...and my god hes the greatest guy ever,,he said to me the other day,,hes 21 now,,,mum..uve been my mum and my dad and u know..u done a lot better than most of the dads in my friends familys..theres no dad that can compare to u in any way..u been kind u been hard so on and my god uve been both mum and dad thru my life! no dad in the world could compare to u.. just wanna say,,im a proud mama
Had to forward this to my teenage son who haven't seen or communicate with his father for over 12 years.

@@kardon4996 very true,I stopped caring, why he wasn't around and what not,I refused the turn out of my life to be mediocre, because some human wasn't man enough,I forgave him, Forged on and became who I wanted by the Grace of God,I had a father figure, who raised me but lost my mom at a young age, that's who I miss the most.
Seeing you help that young man you can just see how happy his mama was. ❤️ That's what life is all about helping others whenever you can & to see a group of guys come together this way is awesome. 💙

This was a great show. Steve said, paraphrasing, "If your dad was not in your life or no good, be the opposite of him".

Good stuff Steve proud of you for being there for our young men amazing general
Thanx a lot Steve & above all I always say Great God Jehovah is still the father of my kids as he created then for me
Like anyone else talking SENSE, Steve Harvey leads well (as he always has) and emphasizes the critical NEED for fathers. God bless him for being a guiding light here!! Drives me nuts when politicians ignore the critical importance of the fathers in the community and act as if some PROGRAM or MONEY, etc. will replace the dads. While those things are intended to help, truth is, they're nothing better than a band-aid. NOTHING replaces the dads; the men in the community. So when your politicians aren't discussing that, learn to ignore them. They're only looking out for themselves.
What a wonderful show
I LOVE THIS ,AM A SINGLE MOTHER RAISED 2 SONS ON MY OWN AND I PLAYED THE ROLE OF MOM AND DAD MY SONS CALL ME MOM AND DAD AND THEY ARE REALLY KIND AND LOVING AND CARING AND KNOW HOW TO RESPECT EVERYONE THEY LEARNED FROM ME TO BE A GOOD SON AND TO BECOME A GOOD MAN AND A GOOD FATHER LATER WHEN THEY ARE MARRIED ,I RAISED THEM IN THE FEAR OF CHRIST AND IT WORKED FOR ME LIKE A SINGLE MOTHER
I wish this session was a little longer. So much to learn right here. Great lesson had me tear up 🙏🙏
Love Steve, Solomon of out days
This is a Powerful message. We need this in our daily lives.
