What a legend Coogan is 😂 nothing but love for him!
Steve Coogan may not know it buthe is one of rge best therapists out there. Whenever I am feeling down (which is often) I just put on Alan Partridge videos on YT and full-throated laughter ensues. And it doesnt matter how often I watch the sketch, it never fails to make me laugh. His genius with language, his facial expressions etc. mean that even when I know what's coming, it still works. Thanks Steve (or should I say Alan)

Steve Coogan talking about his character Paul Calf: I wonder who else remembers Coogan appearing as Calf on Ross' show Saturday Zoo back in the early 90s ?...
Bring back Saxondale. I’d love to know how Tommy is doing with is anger management.
Used a partridge quote today whilst supply teaching. Said to two girls who were slapping each other 'if you're gonna fight, do it in the car park!'
it's interesting to watch this in 2021, given how much the Alan Partridge legacy has grown since this was shot. i'm so pleased he's stuck with (or more likely couldn't shake) the character. it did bother me when he hit this middle ground and seemed to be struggling a little with his direction and identity. he may have many strings to his impressive bow, but he needs Partridge to anchor him to what he is - a talented, funny englishman. Steve is a national treasure and Alan Partridge is pretty much an institution in the UK now, even in Steve's mind. he is the arrow for Coogan's bow: a genius character that he can play until the final curtain.
