Stereo Stealth Microphones
Музыка
Build a set of excellent, low noise stealth microphones. They can be used with any 3.5mm Stereo microphone input with PIP power such as DJI Pocket Cameras, most DSLR and Mirrorless camera along with mini digital recorders. They use AOM 5024 capsules. They are excellent with the Sony PCMA10 and others.

Cool ! The stereo effect is awesome ! I watched the video using my headphones and it`s amazing....these capsules seem to be very, very good. I ordered two of them and will build a computer mic for web meetings.

Nice to meet you chief. Only 6 years for me, all diesels. Had the offer to extend for E6 but I had a good job offer so got out. Kinda wish I'd stayed in but life has been good and won't complain. Most of my career was in acoustics and have some hydrophones, free for shipping. Let me know if you are interested. Cheers, Doug

Yup me too. I do have a small batch of pzt tubes I ordered for my design. I'll dig them out of storage and see if the data sheet is with them or in one of my log books. I built and sold about 10 of them for recreational use. As I remember they are pzt-4 from channel industries. About 1.5 in OD and 2 in long. Resonate about 35khz so pretty flat from 20-20khz. I've built quite a few over my career for work and my little side business. I also have a spherical ITC 10-nn, 4 in Dia I think. Cheers, Doug

Now... what if you want small stereo mics to use with XLR inputs, as on the Zoom F3? Apparently nobody makes this.

Then you build a pair of these. Same capsule and great sound. Very simple circuit that performs really well too: www.instructables.com/The-Sound-Sleuthers/
