@Mike Castillo how is he overrated when he averages 27 points in the finals every year even when houston tried to trap him and double team him he still scored 33 points and raptors doubled him and played box and 1 he still averaged 27 points and game 5 he had 47 points with all the contesting. So he's not overrated and just because he destroyed your team for 5 years straight does not mean you have to hate him. Because we wont see a player like Lebron,curry and possibly durant for many years so just appreciate these players while they are still in the league.

@@panzoid2.064 He's 6'2, and even so height aint no exception, he got point guards guarding him with the same height, you literally dont know basketball or maybe you havent played varsity ball, and with all those screens he should be able to make clutch shots in crucial times especially in the finals, but guess what, he couldnt do that, they couldve gotten 5 chips if he was a killer

Nah. Yea he is the greatest 3 pointer shooter of all time, by far… but he’s so much more than that. He’s the best overall shooter of all time. He’s a top 10 scorer of all time. He’s the best off ball player ever, by a good margin. He’s a great playmaker. He plays above average defense, especially now, and it’s been proven that statistically when teams switch to him don’t gain any advantage. He has top 5 handles of all time, maybe even top 3. He creates his own shot and has a lightning fast release and range with efficiency never seen in the game of basketball. And most importantly the part that’s not easily quantifiable, his gravity has an insane effect and he creates open looks for his teammates more than any other player in history because of how his range and gravity stretches a defense thin. He’s working on a top 10 player of all time resume and is already top 15 all time. He’s so much more than a “3 point specialist.”

steph's a great 3pt shooter no doubt, but I wouldn't call him a specialist. A specialist is someone who does that the majority of the time and it outshines all their other attributes...like a kyle korver. steph does much more. It's a minor issue though, steph's a great 3 point shooter no doubt which was really the heart and intent of the comment.

The quote in discussion is whether Steph is “the definition of a 3 point specialist” and him having very strong other qualities is relevant. Would you say “steph is the definition of a free throw specialist”? Why not? He’s very good at them. You can read articles that rate 3 point specialists and leave steph off the list because so many of his points don’t come from 3 pointers.

curry lost cause he needs a bit dribbling and step to the side before shooting, that's his technique, he's not that good at pure 3 shots
