IMO, Curry is almost single-handedly responsible for people thinking the three pointer is an unbalanced shot that's ruined the NBA. It's not; it's only unbalanced when he's the one shooting it, because he's a broken-ass glitch character in real life. Dude has targeting and range hacks, somebody oughta check his source code.

He’s also responsible for inspiring kids to become pure snipers at a young age. Due to this 3pt percentages are increasing at an insane rate in the high school and college level and of course the NBA. Curry has made what seemed impossible now possible for many aspiring shooters

That last three was the day Curry changed the game. Super competitive, super engaging regular season game between Durant's Thunder and the dubs, that felt like a Finals Game 7. Everyone was watching it, the tension was as high as it can be in sports, and Curry nonchalantly walks down and rips one from 40 feet out to secure the win. From that point on every player, GM, and fan knew the power of the three, and every kid wanted to be like Steph

It's true he was already great, but shots like this and the Clippers dribble and shot threw every rule book out the window. Got 4 seconds and a time-out in a tied game? It was unpleasant watching him destroy the Celtics in the Finals, and yet I still can't be too mad. There's no one that's excited me more when heating up on a court with the exception of MJ, and that was 30 years ago when I was a child and he was a literal Saturday morning cartoon star. What’s amazing is on some of his shots when he shoots them he looks away as if nothing. Amazing player.
There’s a fluidity and ease of his shooting form that makes even the most heavily contested three look like it’s being shot by a guy just messing around on the basket over the garage.

He said he's so good at threes because he's been shooting them since he was five, so his form and everything is muscle memory now
7:10 look how open he was.. the trust in steph is crazy!
What I love is that as often as not he doesn't even watch the ball to the basket. So many of his shots drop directly into the rim that he knows the moment it leaves his hand if it is going in.
You know it’s wild when a quarter through the video it’s a half court
His coordination and depth perception are next-level... Amazing talent
I was literally on the floor laughing through part of this video. Literally it’s mind blowing dude😂

as of right now he has 3117 three pointers made in the NBA, let's say you'll have like 5 seconds of a clip per 3-pointer made, that would be 15585 seconds in total which equals to about 4.3 hours. So you'd have to watch a 4 hour long video of every three pointer ever made by Steph Curry in the NBA.

@Tyler considering my wording, you pose a very valid point. But also on that note, considering basketball itself is only 130 years old I would say projecting it to last 1000 or 1 million or a billion years might be a reach. but I do applaud your optimism in the human race

Great video. They really did get more and more ridiculous.
Love the way he turns and runs back as soon as he's thrown not waiting for the ball to go in. Stylish.
This dude is so awesome to watch, taking shots we tried as kids for hours only make it once. Curry does it once a game. He's a monster with that ball in his hands.
U can always see the frustration from players every time they guard him from half court and he still makes it 😂
I love how at 1:53 he has Klay wide open for a corner 3 and he’s like, nah, I’m just gonna take it from 40
I love how in so many of the clips everyone freezes to see if he made it but him. He just keeps moving 🤣
The scary part about Curry is that he might just be getting started. The fact that he plays from the outside makes his style of play almost virtually injury free. He could play at this level well into his late 40's..or early 50's , and just keep getting better and better!! He's definitely gotten better at creating the open shot. He wasn't breaking ankles when he first joined the league on a regular basis. His handles are insane right now.

I feel like people underestimate how sudden an aging players athleticism declines. Steph could probably get to 41 or 42 like past shooters like Ray Allen and Vince Carter in his final few years but it’s kind of crazy to think an NBA player can get past I’d say 44 as a hard limit
@erikmarkus7467

he absolutely cannot pull this off to his 40s... he does a TON of running ALL THE TIME to get the open looks. he is constantly running - he may be less prone to injury, but he won't be able to keep this up into 40s.
